Question about Amazon Affiliate Program

Hey everyone I have a question..

I'm have a website that has 150k visitors a day...but more from Latin America than USA.

I research on Alexa.Com that many of the countries I get visitors from ..visit Amazon.Com so my question is.can I become part of the Affiliate Program and promote Products on my site?

Someone told me if I created a Amazon.Com affiliate Account I can only promote them to USA.. but I dont know if that's totaly true.

    I am not sure about this. I know that I can buy from other amazon sites (different countries) because I buy British comedies from amazon UK. But whether that applies to those in Latin American countries and Amazon US I dont know. And whether you would still receive credit from a sale is, again, something I dont know.

    Maybe shoot an email over to Amazon affiliate support (if they have one).
