Do You Open WSO's with 0 or 10,000 Hits?

Assuming the title of the WSO (Warrior Special Offer) is the same, whether it be "hypey" or not, are you more likely to check one out that's brand new & just posted or one that just got bumped and has hundreds (or even thousands) of hits/comments?

Just wondering.

One that has more pages (because of the more comments), attract more attention than the ones who dont.

Also there is the social proof aspect of it.. a thread that has so much activity must have something worth talking about (regardless wheter this is actually the case though, most people will think this way unconsciously)

For me it's the title. If it's descriptive enough I will check it out

The ones with more views and comments definitely catch my eye more then ones with none. As Alphy said it's that whole social proof thing... if that many other people are interested in it there must be something to it!

Dude, your profile, with the sig & avatar, has got to be the most badass one I saw on this forum.

Yeah WSO's with more comments or pages usually attract my attention. But then again, I dont normally browse the WSO section. I only usually go there because of an email or recommendation from a fellow warrior or marketer.

An eye catching title that is detailed, but not to detailed does it for me.

It just depends. I've found some great deals browsing the offers that were new with no comments, but you can't help but check out the ones getting all the hype.

Makes no difference to me. Depends on who posted it. I buy from people I trust, mostly.

And how did these people win your trust? You must have purchased from other people you didn't know as well

Trust doesn't have to be built up by having a quality product/service delivered to them. It can come from interacting from members on the forum and realizing that they actually know what they are talking about.

I go by the title only. I wouldn't want to miss out on a great deal or product based on how many times it's been viewed. There are also certain people I look out for and if I see them I'll open it up as well.

I notice the title first but prefer the content of the listing. Just because something has lots of view or comments doesn't mean it's a great product. For all I know all those comments could be about refunds or warnings of a crap product!

Thanks for the responses all, interesting comments.

(with the exception of this one...)

Seems as if the WSO section has become mainly a section for those new and somewhat intermediate in the internet marketing world, whereas people that have been around for a long time buy from "their people" and don't regularly, if at all, check out the WSO section.

You just love to post those smart... comments lol if it didn't really matter then the OP wouldn't ask DUH!

Just seems like a pretty useless question. Kind of like, "what's your favorite color?"

I guess what I was really saying was "Why does it matter to you?" but I figure the OP understood.

Doesn't really help a potential WSO seller as everyone has to start with 0 views and not everyone will be able to get to 10,000 views will they?

        Anyway, carry on...

To be completely honest, haven't purchased a WSO in over a year. I do go in there though when none of the main threads catch my eye and I want reading material. I always go for the ones with a ton of activity. I love to see how a seller interacts with the customers.

I haven't purchased any WSOs recently (nor do I intend to), but I usually focus on the thread title -- that or the page count.

Never open or go to the WSO section directly - so I don't see the title and/or "hits".

If I ever buy a WSO it is from the sig of persons that I trust. Occasionally, if I see a professional (read: full of common sense and knowledgeable) post by someone I don't know yet... and a promising wso description in the sig file - I might click on it.

Personally I feel the title is more important, well if it's something that doesn't attract me but still have 10k views, I might just open it for the curiosity but chances are I'm not getting anything.

I try to avoid the WSO section, I don't need to be tempted to spend on something I really don't need. That said, I have bought some useful tools at pretty reasonable prices.

I hate when I see something that started out as a very low price, but is higher than I'd like to pay by the time I find out about it. From that perspective, it would be better to look at the ones with fewer replies, but the risk of it not delivering is higher.

It all boils down to "caveat emptor" let the buyer beware.

Like Big Mike above, I always look for what has been referred to me.

I never go to the WSO section trolling for something that will make **** better / easier / whatever.

In fact, I find 90% of all WSO's a complete waste of time. And I'm sure most WSO buyers once they've wasted their hard earned $$ on half a dozen or so realise the same... always looking for that shiny button!

Nah. I just do what works again and again and again. If there is some tool / app / program that will enable me to keep doing what works and make it a little easier for me, then I'll take a look. But IMHO 90% of it is rubbish.

Because I browse the WSO section a lot, I'm more likely to click on a new WSO because if it's one that has been bumped, chances are I've already seen it.
