Creating iPhone/Android Apps - Anybody With Experience?
Hey Warriors,
I have been researching the subject of creating/developing apps for the Apple (and potentially the Android) market. I figured there's no better place than here to get feedback from people who might have experience in this area...
I suppose I will list my questions below and if anyone has an answer to one or more of them, please feel free to post your answer along with any comments, suggestions, ideas, personal stories, etc.
- For those who have experience creating and publishing apps (for Apple OR Android), has your experience been a positive/profitable one?
- What softwares, programs, etc. are used/recommended to create apps?
- Are there easier ways to create mobile apps other than raw coding in certain Adobe programs?
- What are the TECHNICAL differences (if any) between the way that Apple apps and Android apps are created?
(I am well aware that the Apple approval process is much stricter than the Android's as far as getting an app approved on the market).
- Feel free to post any other relevant comments, suggestions, ideas, questions, etc.
The app industry is going to be very strong in 2012... Let's get the conversation going! Thanks in advance to anyone who can contribute to this thread.
