Quick facebook question...

I posted a pic on someone else's wall/timeline.

I commented that... This pic will go viral a lot quicker, if the HOST [meaning owner] of THIS page hits the "SHARE" button (too)!

Then someone else said... There is no Formal Host anymore.

Then I said... Are you saying if the "Host" (page owner) hits share, all his friends/fans DO NOT see the pic (fed onto) THEIR walls??

But no one answered that question. So, what is the answer? Has FB changed? Is my assumption no longer true?

    If the page owner shares the picture then yes, people on his site will see it. Though I read recently that only about 16% of your FB friends actually see each post you share. It all comes down to FB's algorithm and which friends they think will be most interested in that post.

      That's true, it is based only on your most recent friends that you have interacted with.

      I remember there was a little hack you can do that would allow you to talk to all your friends at once so that Facebook could let them start seeing your posts again.
