There are a lot of people that are convicted felons that are trying to find work and this might be an option for them. If the see that somebody else has done it, they might buy. Some people might be turned off by this but it might inspire somebody else. Doug |

You can always test and analyze your web traffics. Test and test and test until you got the right strategy pal. No test no game :P

People try to be tricky in terms of their marketing technique and that is very intelligent of him. Somehow, consumers must make it a point that they are on the verge of being in the good market, not being a victim of bad market.

Yeah good chance this marketer is just using this story as a hook. I mean look at rap music, the idea of crook turned good has been marketable for awhile now. Me personally if he had a really captivating backstory that seemed true, I might spend a little longer seeing what he has to offer. |

I think much of it plays on just the simple human emotion of liking to give people a second chance. People fall for that all the time - just look at how we fawn over loser actors and athletes who constantly screw up, then throw us a few crocadile tears of remorse. We (not me so much, put the "puclic") goes right back to fawning over them. From a marketing point of view, it can be pretty effective. But, I agree, I don't want to buy from them either. |
