Short suspense movie recorded using only an iPhone - MUST see.

This is one of the reasons why I think that everyone making videos for their marketing will need to start being more creative with their productions. The bar is most def getting higher.

I don't think marketers need to aim for anything close to this level. These are pro filmmakers demonstrating a point. They may have shot the video footage on an iPhone, but the sound didn't come from the iPhone. There is pro-level post-production on this film, requiring a lot more talent and expertise (not to mention equipment and software) than the average - or even above-average - marketer possesses.

Definitely very popular with the younger generation, but for people with an abysmal internet connection (like myself) they are a real pain, if I get to a page that is video only and no text I hit the back button.
From a marketers perspective they save an awful lot of time writing though I can't see them taking over the asylum just yet.

Agreed, but marketers DO need to aim higher, especially when being creative, because it's work like this that is competing for viewer time on the internet. I am not at all saying YOU have to do this, but you DO have be better, and more creative than your competition.

Hmmm.. Don't be fooled by thinking only young people watch entertaining videos on Youtube. And yes, a bad connection is bad connection, no matter what video you are trying to watch.
