The Internet tax has been squashed!! But has anyone heard from Amazon directly if/when Colorado Amazon associates will be reinstated?

That is great news and it is the first I have heard of it. I would think the best way to find out if/when Amazon will be accepting affiliates is to contact Amazon directly and ask them.

I did an online chat with someone at amazon and they said one of their tax people will send a response to me about amazon's status. I'll report back here. Could be the start of something good for other states that have lost their associate status too. Now all I have to do is find those 40+ websites I killed when they made their announcement.

You can tell how awesome this news was. Almost a year later, Colorado is still a no-go.

Nevada Corporation and a registered Agent is 99 dollars, (The registered Agent is still 99 dollars.

I would suggest spending the night at a Las Vegas Casino after forming your corporation. Open a bank account at a National Chain in Nevada with P.O. Box out there (like Bank of America) so you can access the funds in Colorado.

Of Course please talk to a certified public accountant or professional tax attorney for any other ramifications in doing this as I am not one.
