Hi Warriors, Would like to ask for your experience about how to request Clickbank to approve a new $197 product? I read the FAQs on Clicbank site and found this: "The typical retail cap for standard products is $50. In some circumstances, we can approve a retail cap as high as $200 for standard products, and even higher with a prior sales history with ClickBank with low refund and chargeback rates." But what if I am creating a brand new product with a different pen name? Meaning that I can not prove to Clickbank my previous products with different pen names have low refund and chargeback rates? So is there any other way that I can request Clickbank to approve a new product with the price tag of $197? The product is not in IM niche btw. Please share your experience, Thanks, Stephen |

Hello Stephen I think you will find it comes down to the history you have with them, and the reputation you have built. For example, things like refund rates, chargebacks etc will come into it. I used ClickBank for a while and when I asked them for a $500 limit, they agreed. Quote:

Guys - Just ask them. I think you'll find that if they like your page and your product enough (i.e. they think both are good enough) you won't have a problem. I just advised one of my product buyers to do this with a $167 product as his first ever product on CB and they approved him with no problem at all because his site looked great and he had a good product. Of course he did learn from me ![]() Roy |

Roy's right on. Just ask them. I launched my very first product with zero history at $97 with Clickbank. All you need is a good looking salesletter and a purchase process that meets their criteria. I'm getting ready to launch version 2.0 of my product at $197 and will just simply make a request to Clickbank for a price increase. I have no doubt they'll approve.

Not today my friend. Unless you have good rep 't add a product that costs more than 47$. Sorry for you, but you still can try to contact them and explain that you're sure your product worth more than 47$ in any way you can see it. Good Luck ![]() Mike G Hersh |

It's very easy to ask for Clickbank approval of 97$ products. I already have some $97 products under my belt (however they are not in IM niche). And I believe you just need a good sales letter, and an okay product to create a 97$ product with Clickbank. However, things get harder for the $197 products though... I think Clickbank will ask for a good history and an outstanding product... |

Thanks man. I already successfully got Clickbank to approve my 197$ product. As long as you can prove your product worths the price, the process is easy. Cheers, Stephen |

Hey, I didn't know about the cap rate? I'm doing a massive product launch at the moment myself on clickbank. I found it took a few requests to get it accepted. Mainly due to the copy on my sales page. But all sweet now |

Hey guys, should we first pay $50 (vendor fee) and then apply for the approval of a high ticket product? But what if they don't approve? Will they refund $50 back? Thanks |
