Article To Video Software

Hi Folks

I run a number of UK based Financial Services type sites and would like to use article to video software or similar to deliver an online sales pitch. i dont need something which will submit to xxx number of video sites I have Majic Submitter for that to get the word out but producing the buggers in the first place is where I fall short. I do not want my face in shot etc 9good face for radio) However something that produces good quality animated slides and possibly text to speech would be ideal.

Preferably a 1 off fee to purchase rather than monthly subs would be ideal.

Can anyone point me to a good solution.

Thanks for the help

Take a look at Instant Video Articles.

Here too is a tutorial. It's only $27 and it's pretty good.

Another great one is GFX Video Writer. It's $29.99 and if you search around, you will probably find a discount code, Icansoft (the publisher) usually offers one on every holiday. I own both programs and use them both all the time.

Thanks for that, It satisfies most of my needs but not voice. I need to be able to put an automated voice on there, mine is no good, as well as the good face for radio I have the good voice for silent movies to match.

Okay, then I suggest you take a look at Camtasia Studio7. The program has an automatic MS Excel plugin, and will fit your needs well. Much more expensive, but a one-time purchase, and they offer a full 30 day trial.

How can Camtasia solve the problem of "voice"?

From what I understand you will still have to "record" or add a soundtrack of some sort.

I think what autopilot is looking for is voice recognition software that will actually do the reading of the script or article.

DragonSpeak will record your voice to words but I'm not sure what to suggest to perform this task the other way around... Actually reading a written article or script and create a sound file would be the solution.

Does anybody know how to accomplish this with a software program?

Aaaahh... sorry, I didn't get that point. I know the Camtasia PowerPoint plugin works with speech to text, but I don't believe it reverses the process. I don't know of any program which will do that. An option would be to send the script for each video to a voice-over artist and have them make a professional recording. This would sound much better than a phoney "voice".

Yeah a voice over artist would probably be better than a computer generated voice. It might be a little pricey getting a good one with a clear speaking and natural sound.

I just went over to DragonSpeak website and in the comparison table at:

        http://www.nuance.com/ucmct/groups/d.../nd_004125.pdf

It says: Text to Speech - A synthesized voice reads out loud text you
        designate.

I do not know if the voice sounds natural or robotic though.

This may work for you but don't sell yourself short because many people do not like the sound of their own voice but yet come across great to other listeners.

Also, if you have Powerpoint and Windows Video Maker on your computer you can create slides in Powerpoint, save them as JPEGS and add them into Windows Video Maker and then add your soundtrack.

        I hope this helps you.

You could always make one using Camstudio. It's a free option.
