HostGator shared hosting VS adf.ly traffic?

Hey,

Anyone have any experience with HG shared hosting and throwing adf.ly traffic at it?

I know they suspend your account if you exceed your resource limit for like over a minute, so I want to make sure before I try it.

Thanks,
Kevin

Actually I have tried Adf.ly traffic and I also have my hosting account with Host Gator. By the way I never faced any problem with Adf.ly traffic but reality is that Adf.ly traffic never converted, I tried it four different times with four different niches. I will simply advise not to waste your money with them.

I have to agree, adf.ly traffic is pretty much a waste of time, unless it is just the numbers that you are interested in. Hostgator never bothered about the campaigns that I set up, but if you are really worried, just use the daily budget setting to slow down the flow of visitors.

As for Hostgator shared hosting, it is ok, but you must keep tabs on it, if you are bidding to get faster views, You want to keep refreshing the page and make sure that you do not get over 150-200 views per minute, best is around 100 views per minute or less. You can play around with different times of day if you are using the worldwide or proxy deals ( i.e. 12 noon - 5 pm eastern time is more likely to get you U.S. and Euro views, as most of Asia is asleep. ) and also monitor your auto responder while doing tests to see which market you are drawing from.
if you get in excess of 150-200 views per minute, then your page will most likely crash and get an error .
when this is done right ,, i.e. tested opt-in page etc.. I generally will pull in 200 new subscribers for 13,000 proxy views ($5.20) and average a 12-15% hard bounce rate resulting in around 175 new subscribers for every $5.20 spent.
I agree to use adf.ly by testing squeeze page but I don't really think the subscriber from adf.ly would give you any good.

They are in your list because of free goods. they didn't care who you are and didn't remember where they get your free product. Please be careful, this type of subscriber will only give you a lot of spam complain.
