Automatic posting to social media - recommendations?

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for software that enables you to set up automatic posts to your social media accounts??

I've been searching for software, but a lot of them aren't free. There has to be some free software out there for this.

    At the risk of perhaps starting a new discussion or bringing further discussion to an earlier post on this thread, What would you post?

    Im just curious to know how one feels that auto posting to social media can be of benefit and if so I would like to know how as it may interest me then
