Hello Everyone

Im wondering if you would recommend a direct link to affiliate page or link to review page first when promoting CB products?

Any tips and suggestions would be much appreciated as i am new to this

Thanks so much

    Hi,

Both ways work but it depends how you promote and get traffic really. The latter means you,ll have to get a domain, hosting etc and then set the site up..

    Your call..Good luck!!

    Hi,

More effective long term is referring to a squeeze page, then providing a valuable email series that gradually educates the potential customer on why they should buy the particular clickbank product.

There's no comparison at all, Scott.

This forum has nearly 500,000 registered members: call me a skepchick but I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't actually one person here who genuinely makes a living by direct-linking to CB products. (Five years ago, possibly, when there was so much less competition - not now.) It just makes no sense at all. Not only does that activity chase about 10% of the available income at the expense of the other 90%, but it also deprives you of the opportunity to build a sales funnel, to sell subsequent products to your customers (which is where most of the money is, in affiliate marketing), and - in short - to build a real, asset-based business at all: in affiliate marketing, your real assets are your websites and your lists. Without those, you accumulate nothing except a "constantly rinse and repeat business model". Who needs that? :p

Here's something to observe and think about: have a look at all the threads here on subjects like "What's the one thing you'd do differently if you were starting again?" There are plenty of them. They're full of posts from experienced, successful Warriors explaining all their shared reasons why "Starting to build a list right at the beginning" would be the single most productive, most important and most helpful thing they could possibly do, given everything they've learned, over the years. There are reasons for that. In this business, failure to start off by building a list is one of the biggest and most significant mistakes you can make.

And here's a post explaining the ground-floor (or even "basement") basics of ClickBank affiliate marketing: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5210243

I think that the best way to proceed is to build a squeeze page to get people interested and then market to the people to opt-in with informational emails at first so you can build trust and educated them. Reputation is everything and the more a potential customer trusts you as an authority figure, the more likely they will take your advice.
