hi there. Anyone knows how to check how many times a particular keyword is searched in google a day? It will be better if there is a free service. Thanks |

Keep in mind that nobody KNOWS Google's search numbers except Google. They are very tight-lipped about this. Seobook, et al can only estimate based on what they know is Google's market share of the entire search world (not just one specific keyword). And, Google's external keyword tool gives you numbers that include Google AND Google's search partners. I've read that you can estimate that 50% of this number is good for JUST Google (not sure if that's right though as even that is a guess). As a consequence, whatever tool you decide to use, the numbers will not be 100% accurate and this causes frustration for many. |

I usually take what they Google Keyword tool tells me and I cut it in half. I then see what the competition numbers are for that keyword, and I divide the G results by the amount of monthly searches and I am left with a number... I have a "scale" for these numbers, and it helps me determine which to go with for a particular project/client.
