There are many ways of getting unique traffic to your website. You can build links to your site from related external websites and get good traffic to your site. Article marketing is another good method of getting potential visitors to your site. Directory submission is another great method in attracting unique visitors.

To get more traffic for you site you can try SEO techniques. These techniques can be On Page SEO or Off Page SEO. But I prefer Off Page SEO. Using Off Page SEO, you can get best result and good amount of backlinks too.

Here are some methods you can do yourself to start getting more traffic to your site. THey all rely on picking the "right" keywords.

1) Go search for blogs related to your niche and post smart, interesting, or relevant comments that will get approved by the blog owners, Insert your URL in there.

2) Join forums and put your URL in your signature profile. And post relevant comments to the topics so your links won't be removed.

3) You can try free tools like SEO Sozial monkey to submit 25 daily links

4) Propose to bloggers that you will do guest-posts for their niche. (If you want you can outsource the writing, but that takes $$). In the article include a signature link back to your site.

5) Write good quality, informative, and useful articles related to your website and niche, and put your URL in the signature, and submit them to ezine articles, and other article sites.

6) The best way is to offer something so valuable that people will share it on facebook, twitter, etc etc.

7) Sign up for SocialAdder and do their free program to generate bookmarks from other users to your site.


Anyways,this is a pretty good place to start. If you have money, you can save yourself A LOT of time and effort, of course, by hiring other people (like myself :-P) to do them.

Buy updates from large fan pages is a good and low budget way to increase website traffic.

Whatever you choose as a traffic source, remember that you need to take action and also stick with the traffic strategy for at least a couple of busy weeks.

Nobody knows better than you which traffic works best for your business, although there are some guidelines, but you must test, test and test yourself. Then give a conclusion.

Good question, as well as responses. Overall, it seems it depends on your niche. But the way to get website traffic, is to have a website or blog. If you build it, they will come. However, you have to add content and make the site catchy and appealing to viewers.

There are traffic methods.. but just getting traffic isn't helpful if you aren't receiving targeted or related traffic. You can get traffic/views to your site by using social networking sites, posting comments, traffic exchanges, articles to directories, and even putting out biz cards (or drop cards). There are a variety of ways to get traffic to your site. You want to KEEP them coming back too--that's for another post. LOL

If you are brand new in the market and if you know how to build a website or a blog, I highly suggest you to pick a market which you are good at and start writing content for what people are looking for..

Try to use every method thrown at you on this thread with no plan. Go Broke and go get a job as a dishwasher in a dumpy restaurant. Get some motivation to get out of the hell hole your in. Now that you have focus and motivation:

There is no one plan for every market. What I would do in a Hunting niche would not be the same thing I would do in the Make money niche.

Learn about sales funnels and how they work. If you drove traffic to a restaurant that had terrible food, bad service and stunk do you think that traffic would produce profit. No! They would tell their friends how bad you were and you would be broke at the end of the week. Make sure your ready for the traffic before you get it.
