Poll: Which colour theme should I go with for this site(out of these two..)?

INTERNET MARKETING

Please can you guys help me select which theme you
like by voting in the poll (I still can't make up my mind).

BLACK VERSION;
Software Member Pro

BLUE VERSION;
Software Member Pro

- I'd also like to know WHY you chose the colour that you did?

I personally liked the black version since it looks distinguished and niched...but then when I go back to blue it's more brighter and vibrant but I find it a too much of a common colour in 'IM' and a bit 'boring' perhaps.

As for a reason... not sure... probably what you said...

Well...both themes are different for sure.
For me personally...I like the Black theme one.

Yes, the Blue one is very nice..the color is very bright, catch attention of the eyes, yet it makes it so typical color of sofware packaging somehow (not all packagings are in that color) but it just gives that sense of typical software.

The black one on the other hand..not as poped out as the blue once the page is open, but the more I look at it..the more it looks sofisticated. more classy and high end product. The black one gives me the feeling of calm but yet asssuring..makes the product more alluring to me.

the blue one just typical...at first, gives me like "woa...the color is nice" but then it just that!!...nothing special.

Sorry for babbling too much hahaha.. I know...its just color :p

Ahhh...a person who generally had my view on the black...
..sophistication, class, cavier, fine wine and software! LOL.

The results so far are interesting yet I need more numbers to be able to make the final decision.

Ah...that's It!

Maybe ad a line of fine wine colour to get it depth. Just a splash.

I say keep the black and ad depth.

I'm biased though - and blue is my favourite colour.

come on man, you know you should just to an A-B split test to see which one pulls better, then ditch the other one.

Warriors are only going to give you personal preference - it's not their wallets doing the talking.

Well..that settles it then.

Keep the black and add a little splash of tarquise in the reflection to give the depth since everyone likes blue...I figure tarquise is a fair compromise with the wine.

It keeps it classy and the tarquise colour keeps it unigue and off set from the rest out there.

Besides...that first splash was a little weak anyway.

  I would have to vote for the black as well. It definitely makes me think champagne and caviar compared to the almost clownish garishness of the blue. If you'd like to mingle the ideas a bi a touch of a color here and there in the black would work well (a couple cogs on the package perhaps) but a mroe somber color not the bright of the blue you've got on the second theme.

I picked blue, the black was too stark. Somehow it made the "white space" on the page look even whiter if that is possible. The blue has, in my opinion, better overall visual appeal.

Funny you mention that...the white actually hurt my eyes against the black.
I'm on a mac and maybe have the brightness up too high.

I don't know why. The black one scares me.

The blue one seems more friendly and makes me feel more like buying if I were to.

You want my honest opinion? This is just MY opinion...So...don't cut me up or give me one of those columbian neck ties....ok...

I started to vote using your poll...but, I didn't like either one... At All.

In my browser your blue version had way to much of the purple hue in it and made my eyes wack out at first sight and took a second to focus.

The black version didn't freak me out but it was just plain 2 diminsional. It lacked depth so it appeared more like an old ad from the 40's

Like, I said, spare me the neck tie

The thing about the colors is every person's computer
is different, so the color shade will vary...

Only those with newer computers will have a more
accurate depiction of what shade the colors really
are...or a nice aftermarket graphics card :~)

With that said I like both of them, but if I simply
glance at both, the blue catches my eye a little
more than the black...
