Using google docs to distribute Ebooks sold online?

Hey everyone i dont think there are many people here that deal with ebooks. Ive searched the forums here and theres not much about it.
But there is a lot of talk on other sites about downloading times and compatibility.
Couldnt one use google docs to distribute a sold ebook. You can upload a file from your computer or a website url. So if someone bought an ebook could they not just type in the url of the page the ebook and bonuses are on and then have it in google and not on there computer?
Im pretty sure there is a reason why this would not be a good idea but i cant think of it. Maybe someone here could enlighten me??

thanks Ashley
Ps i realise that the customer would have to have a gmail or make a gmail account in order to use this method.

I've considered exactly that, but haven't tried it. You can even hook Analytics in, to see who's reading, etc.
