Optin and Kindle

Hi,

can somebody tell me how I can put and optin in a kindle ebook.
I want to do two things:
- Build a mailling list with all person who bought my book
- Notify people with the new book
- provide update for books.

    I would recommend putting a link back to your author's site/blog where you have the opt-in page - offer a free report etc in exchange for their email address.

    Another option is to put a blurb in the book that says "For a bonus chapter (or alternate ending, or free preview, etc) of "Your Book Title", simply send an email to youremail@yoursite.com"- which is an autoresponder setup to send the opt-in confirmation link & leads to the freebie.

    or to take advantage of a current trend, and use a QR code.

    I like the bonus chapter strategy. As long as you are providing real value, it should be a great way to make Kindle buyers listers, too :-)
