Writing multiple articles on one topic

How do you write multiple articles on on topic without them all being the same? I could write one or two but have no idea how to come up with 15 unique articles of 350 words each. Any advice?

Hi Dragone,

I find it difficult myself - but you have 2 options:

1) Think of each article in a different way and from a different angle. (Maybe write a review in one, provide facts in another etc.)
2) Outsource!

There are so many people on here who will write tons of articles for you for real cheap, just go to the WSO section on this forum and you will see.

You can take and break down the big subject into separate parts.

I've written 80 articles for one of my niches and what I do is to ask different questions when I come to write them.

You get to the point where you know the niche so well that it's pretty easy to come up with these questions that fit with the keyword.

e.g. "how to stop smoking" as a subject/keyword phrase

• how to stop smoking using patches
• I want to know how to stop smoking should I go cold turkey or use nicotine replacement patches?
• does hypnotism work when it comes to stop smoking?
• does group therapy help to stop smoking?

...and so on.

There are tons of different approaches, this is just how I do it and it seems to work for me.

First, start with your research.

1. Keyword Research...look for questions that people are asking. 99% of the time, people will tell you exactly what they want...then just give it to them.

2. Topic Research...spend the majority of your time on the front end gathering information about your topics...it's really easy to write a 350 word article on any topic when you have a good pile of information and facts to work with.

Now...this is a little off topic...but if you are just writing 15 articles to target 15 keywords, then it is much easier to write 1 article and spin it uniquely 15 times. Then you only need to do your research once.

If, however, you are trying to use the 15 articles for content for a blog or webpage...then that is entirely a different matter.

Try a different perspective.

I get in this kind of rut too, especially since I'm somewhere in the 100 mark for my main niche. So to keep the content and ideas going, sometimes you just need to change the focus.

For WHO?
How?
What if you try it THIS way instead?
What if you try it THAT way?
Talk to just women in the article.
Talk to just men.
Write about the article in different stages of the niche.

At this point you could mix and match perspectives and focus.

As for keywords, the vast majority will come out naturally as you write. The Title needs to be targeted as it's the most important, as is a good Summary. When you know your niche really well long and short tail phrases will automatically land within the content over time in a lot of articles.

People write entire books on one topic, so why is it hard to write a few articles? A book might be 10,000 words, equal to dozens of articles.

Maybe you need to broaden the topic if you really can't think of more article ideas.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I just saw an advert in the classifieds for 100 000 articles. Would it be a good idea to purchase these articles then spin them so I can legally submit them to article directories and use them on my site as good quality content? Is this not a whole lot easier and cheaper than outsourcing to writers?

Hi Dragone.

Each article has to have a purpose, and that purpose is to inform. What should they convey? Alas, the answer to that question is what will make an article different from another.

Here are some common directions for a particular subject:

1. Benefits
2. Disadvantages
3. Steps on procedures involved
4. The problem/s involved with the subject
5. Possible solutions
6. Alternatives, if any
7. Relevant statistics
8. Predictions about the immediate future
9. How people receive the subject
10. Reviews of products catering to the subject

Still at a loss? Use Yahoo Answers and determine what people want to know about the subject. From there, you'd be able to come up with a variety of possible topics for your articles.

It helps if you choose a niche that has a long list of keywords that's one thing and another is you can check out EZA and see what they are writing about in your niche. Not copy word for word of course, but get ideas. Don't forget the sites on first page of G in your niche they sometimes have the best ideas.

I always thought it is not that hard to write many 350 or so word articles about any topic using all the methods everyone hast stated above.
It is just a matter of either allocating your time to it...or someone else's to do it.

So if you have the time, then do it. If you don't, get someone else to do it.
