What to do with this Blog?

Hey Warriors,

I am trying to figure out what I can do with this site. I set it up in 2008 when I first tried to get into Internet Marketing. I really did very little with it, and the keyword it was meant for was not a good one. It's biker babes. My mom actually wrote the posts for it, because she is into the biker scene. Over the years I've gotten a click here and a click there. But it gets a decent amount of traffic with no work. Last month I had 96 Unique Visitors with 157 pageviews. Obviously I have adsense on it, but not really converting. I'm guessing by the keywords people are searching they are looking for photos. Since its a blogger site I cannot go the adult route. Any ideas to make some money off this site. I don't think you can sell blogger sites so that is out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Most definitely visitors would be expecting photos of hot biker babes when coming to the site and other than Adsense, hot biker babes may be difficult to monetize. If I remember correctly, there is some Biker Babe dating site that may have an affiliate program.

      I was also expecting to see hot babes on bikes! LOL

      @ Smallwheels: yes you can buy a custom domain name (.com) through blogger for just 10$. Everything is the same as before, only the name is different. So Google still owns your profile and your blog...

      @ londonwarrior: Hmm so are you saying that it's not possible to sell a Blogspot blog? Because I was just thinking of selling all my blogs...

    Hmm mediocre.. Maybe you might want to include an opt-in form in your blog.. That might really help a lot (long term)!

    Include more pictures instead of adsense..

    Of course, you can try to monetize a blogger blog, but I wouldn't advise you to go crazy with blogger.

    I mean, it's not really your business, you basically own nothing on that domain. If Google decides she wants to slap your free blog, then you can only watch.

    My advise, if you haven't already put in hundreds of hours in this business venture, would be to leave it and buy your own domain name and do proper niche, keyword, market research, and only then spend your time with the business.

      Actually that isn't a bad niche.

      You could do this (just brain storming here)

      Set up a real site.

      You could -

      1. Have Women bikers fill out a bio, upload a non nude pic with them and their Bikes

      2. Focus on Events - Bikers love events

      Bike Shows
      Swap Meets

      3. Travel guide for bikers. Places of interests etc,

      4. Then of course market items

    You should get some biker girl pics on your site and also team up with amazon.com to maybe sell some stuff that are related to bikes.

    You can add more articles to your site. There is so many things you can do with it.

      Isn't there a way to purchase a dot com name and convert your site to that using Google? I visit a site that was originally a .blogspot.com name then it was transferred to a .net. All of the software and templates look the same. The only thing that has changed is the site address. Even my old bookmark link with the .blogspot.com address forwards to it.

    I would try to add to the site, and maybe find some amazon products to sell. They might come to your site looking for pics, but if your sales copy is good you might convince a few to buy some biker gear off amazon.
