Authority Site Income Question

I hope this question hasnt been over-saturated, but I couldn't find much info with a search.

I am looking to make an authority website with a BROAD keyword, low competition, roughly 4 million global searches monthly (BROAD results)

I plan to drip feed articles over time, eventually creating 50+ 1000 word articles all targeting more specific keywords in this niche.

As this is a time consuming and an "all eggs in one basket" endeavor, I would like to get others experience regarding potential income a project like this could make.

I plan on using adsense, an amazon store and possibly clickbank to monetize. For SEO, I plan on backlinking by hand over 1-2 years as I add the articles.

How much could a site like this make per month if Im able to get average ranking for my keywords?

There are many, many variables involved in this, so I don't want to just say that you can earn x each month...

However, if you create a site like this you might want to consider adding private ad sales to your monetization options, and then consider creating your own products after affiliate sales tell you what converts (don't copy, of course).

I would also suggest not using Google Adsense...it seems to me that the income derived from this wouldn't be worth driving away vistors that you should be adding to your list.

Just my two cents. Sorry that I couldn't give you a specific monthly value...try figuring out this for yourself by looking at potential traffic, goal conversion rates, and commissions per sale, etc. Then it just becomes about driving traffic and tweaking for conversions!

As articlesforim stated there are way to many things to consider here and with the little information you have given it would be difficult to give you any sort of number. There would not even be any way of making an educated guess. Keep in mind a "broad" keyword doesn't mean that you will get anything close to that kind of traffic. You also have to look at the competitiveness of the niche, how you plan to monitize your traffic, etc.
