Fluctuating conversion rates for Amazon affiliate sites. I

I set up an Amazon affiliate site a couple of months ago and these are my figures so far

For March, I got 64 clicks with 6 sales. I thought, hey that's not a bad start, so I should now focus on building more traffic to my site.

However, so far for April I have 45 clicks, so I'm slowly getting more traffic to my site. However, 0 sales!!!

Is this common for affiliate sites? I obviously have a site which converts and I will wait until the end of April to see if I get any more sales, but this does seem a little odd, doesn't it?

That's not enough data to call it fluctuating. You didn't get enough clicks to justify anything here. You need many thousands of clicks before you can come to a conclusion.

Lol Buddy, how about ~900 visits and 2 sales? I think you might gone crazy if you were me (yep, my first Amazon affiliate site ranks really well but doesn't convert).

But anyway, IM is just a game of numbers.

You simply can't build one website and hope that it will generate thousands instantly first time you try it. Yes it's possible. But to reach that point, you will have to make some more sites (3-5 in my opinion). And more than often, one of them will be the money machine

    Hope that helps.

You know the system "can" work. Get your site ranked better and or make another using the same methods. Only when you have more site and more traffic can you really analyse your figures and split test on the various sites.
