Any Success With Yahoo PPC?

Can you make a business out of using Yahoo PPC? Is there enough volume and cheap enough bids to make it work?

I was banned last year from Google adwords (yes I was a bad boy... now I'm reformed) and want to learn PPC better and my only choice I have now is Yahoo or MSN which I've never had luck with.

Anyone doing any substantial business using any of these as a PPC alternative to Adwords?

Thanks,

TedK

I hear they're just as good and potentially have less competition, depending. I've never done PPC, though, so I can't give you specifics.

yea you can make a living. you can get loads of traffic if your broaden your keywords a bit. and you cn usually do that and hold a profit since the cost of a click is cheaper and there's less competition.

There is definitely enough volume in Yahoo in many niches and MSN in a few....so all is not lost.
    Are you truly reformed now?

I think I am... temptation is always hard when chasing the quick bucks :-) . But I do want to seriously start using PPC the right way and learn how to build a longer lasting business model instead of just chasing the quick bucks.

It's nice to make a quick buck... but you have to keep chasing your tail changing your business model as you change to the next big thing. It's better to just find something that works and stick with it in the longer run.

Yes I always use all 3 PPC sources and yahoo drives about 15-25% (depending on the niche) of my paid traffic. I would suggest you disable the yahoo "content network" because it's horrible quality.

Does anyone know if Yahoo accepts Paypal for PPC campaigns or just credit card?
