Need help choosing domain name

Hi warriors, I am not so good in IM and I need a little help here.

I want to make a website where I will share my knowledge about php programming, main keyword I want to rank for is "learn php", but it seems like all exact match domains are taken. What can you recommend me to do, add some prefix or what?

I appreciate any help!

It is much better to use suffix than prefix so your keywords are still at the front of the domain for SEO purpose.

You can use suffix like online, fast, programming, in 24 hours, today, now ect.

Be creative, anything anything you can think of really.

Always use .com, .net or .org in that order.

    Have a good Easter!

Suffix is generally better but these days Google look for rich contents as well. Another option is to buy expired domains? Good luck!

Have you thought about using a keyword software tool that will enable you to see relevant keyword search and competition results. There are some that will also enable you to see if the exact keyword phrase domain is available in either .com, .net or .org.

      Regards

learn-php.net is available. Exact match. I'd grab it. Nothing wrong with a .net domain.

I do totally agree with Suzanne.

Even there is hypen (-) and it's .net domain, but it is still EMD (exact match domain), and if I were you, I 'll keep it in my pocket exactly.

      Just suggestion, anyway

Frankly speaking, in the world of IM, EMD plays a very small role to ranking. Go learn SEO and how to build backlinks. Learn how to write insteresting topics and write as though it is written for humans , not the search engine.

Have a long term plan for your site and watch the baby grow. In most cases, it's all about content--quality content.

People seem to overlook .net or .us or others like that. If you have great content and great product and the right backlinks, then that EMD .com can and will be overcome!

I was half considering a move in a similar direction however certainly in the UK maybe in the US w3schools and php.net always have the top spots whenever I am searching for anything php related. I think php may be a difficult nut to crack if you are looking at search engine traffic only.
