So how much money do you really make?

What is the primary way you make money online? and
how long did it take you to average what your making now?

i haven't started anything yet, i am working on a review site that has yet to launch and all i really know how to do is build websites, i know a grip about making money online and my first project is this review site to do so.

Conceptually this site should become an authority site for the fact that their are no websites like it out there, not even in the market in which im approaching. It is a wide open market and i know for a fact no internet marketer is going to be doing what i am doing and how im doing it. How do i know this? (you ask) years of researching & observation. Even if they were to find out, i will still dominate them because they still wont be able to match my approach.

Also if you don't mind me asking, this may probably seem like a sketchy question but how much have you been averaging yearly? or how much do you average a month?

also if those who post on this thread don't reveal how much money they make. I know asking that may seem rude, my question to you is. Why? I've never understood why people feel that, that topic is private. Is it shame or something? What good?......What real good? I NEED TO KNOW!!!!

PS
im glad to share how much i make a month and even what im doing with it. I currently work slave labor i average around $600 & $800 a month watching little kids run around an amusement park "making sure they don't get hurt" (making sure they don't destroy the equipment) and i use all of that money to buy food pay for a gym membership, storage and stay warm. Im practically homeless. But i don't lose.....at anything! :} one can only learn.

I spent six months reading around on this forum, bought a couple of books (namely Robert Kiyosaki books), started a niche blog, and then wrote an eBook. the blog has made pennies really, but my eBook has rocked - released in December 2011, I have had sales of nearly $7,000.

I may add that I have done this with NO affiliates, and also IM is not my day job, I do it part time as my shift system at work is 2x 12 hour day shifts, followed by 2x 12 hour night shifts, followed by 6 days off. So I have plenty of time on my hands.

    Good luck with your project.

You made a really great point here...

      Congrats on your E-Book success.

Having your own product is very lucrative because of 2 reasons:
      1. %100 Commissions
      2. Instant Payouts

I'm actually working on my second ebook and setting up the sales funnels as we speak.

It's part of the 3 politically incorrect things to discuss in America:
    Religion, Politics, and Money.

But to be Honest, I have a few sites that generate money.
I can say that One of my Adsense sites averages $10-$20 per day. ($300- $600 per month)

I have another site that makes a couple of thousand per month depending on how much paid traffic we invest in.
    Those are just some ideas.

Its rare for people to be making hundreds per day from just one site alone or one list alone.

Really successful marketers usually have a a few systems which work well for the that they have duplicated over time.

If I had to give you any advice, I'd say definitely start building a list right now, in the middle of everything that you're doing, regardless of you niche.... It's actually just that serious.

Primary way - blogging and YouTube marketing. Natural traffic generated by those activities results in and around about 2.5K revenue a month (minus hosting, design work, affiliate commissions).

You can see my traffic and PayPal screenshots here on this blog post http://internetdigibiz.com/from-200-...monthly-sales/ - and personally I don't have anything to be ashamed of when it comes to discussing the amount of money I make from running my website!

It's all result of hard and dedicated work and let's not forget I didn't make any money in the early stages of developing my blog.

Primary method- Providing content. However that is starting to give way to affiliate marketing through article marketing. I'd very much like to only be writing for myself by the end of the year.

How long to get to my current income level- Under a year (as I only started doing anything last June). However, it is always growing so I don't ever see myself as having "arrived" to a certain income level.

Yes, I agree about kissing the frogs. I say you have to swim through a sea of you know what before you finally decide who you can trust to deliver the goods and who never to buy from. Like any other business, you have to pay for your education. I haven't found much that was free and worth anything of real value. Good Luck!

Too many metaphors for my liking. There is no money in the kissing of frogs guys, unless you can turn it into a Disney script.

The trick is to figure out what works for you and not what works for everyone else. My first year online, I didn't even make enough money to put on my taxes. My second year I made enough to claim on taxes, but only barely.

I kept trying and trying to break into affiliate marketing during these years because writing articles and driving affiliate sales was the only thing that I felt like I could do. And I kept feeling like the little that I was earning was proof that I could do it if I just found the right "method".

Then someone I followed told me to start offering services and I started a ghostwriting business. Within 6 months of doing that I had an accountant who wanted me to get incorporated.

So please don't give up. Really think about what services you can offer to make some contacts in the IM world and get some money under your belt and then run with it.

    Good luck!

I don't get why you're asking the question in the first place. Are you saying that you spent years of research and observation (which is how you know) coming up with an "angle" to approach a wide open market that nobody else is targeting... but forgot to research if it were even profitable or not?

Are you trying to see how much money you "could" make? Because that won't work either as we wouldn't have anything comparable since, as you say, that market is wide open and you'll dominate it.

Or are you just trying to be nosy?

If you have money to venture, the fastest way is to buy an existing website that is already generating profit from website like Flippa. Having said that you must also have adequate IM knowledge to maintain and grow it.

My primary ways of income are from flipping Adsense sites and offer coaching for Adsense, business and mindset.

Here is my tip for you:

Don´t get frustrated if you should experience short term failure or problems, because it´s totally normal. If you´ve the right mental attitude and plan in plan, success will also become true for you.

Make sure that you don´t give up during the process.. Sometimes it can be really tough since there are many distractions and negative problems that can stand between you and success.

Your task should be to keep a clear mind on your goal and vision!

Best of success to you, and I´m sure that you´ll make it happen.

I've found the opposite, in my experience there's non IM niches that are far, far more profitable.

IM is alright, there's money in it but there's more to be made in other niches.

Half of my money comes from a new media agency I own. We do SEM/SEO, manage social media and media buys for mostly dentist, lawyers, cosmetic surgeons and other professional services.

I also have 10 sales people working for me so it helps to leverage my time.

The other half comes from doing product launches in the these markets:

    > health and wellness

    > education

This year in 2012 I hope to personally make close to or a little over $300,000 after all expenses.

How long has it taken me to get to this point?

I've been doing this since mid 2009.

But to make a point, I came into doing this with quite a bit of money from a job prior to going solo.

And if you're curious how I got to this point.

I come from a sales background where I was precious metals broker making about 250 phone calls per day working 60+ hours. So to this day I am a phone warrior and so are my 10 sales people.

We are straight up money hungry American hustlers, but provide kick ass service too. That's the most important part.

I was a company secretary not long ago with hardly any IM skills but since I joined the WF, I have cultivated those skills. I have mastered PHP video script websites and sell them to clients. At the moment I am selling them for $100 per client (half the price) and building a list of buyers who normally buy again. Customers appreciate the good service honesty and the discounted price.

So I'm fighting against all the odds as an ex-secretary to make it but I can see results.

Just need someone to show me how to make $100 per day then my modest goal is achieved. I can then say that normal people can make it in the IM Industry.

I make 4 figures per month and I do it with Amazon Associates by targeting very specific products that are very easy to rank for. It allows me to focus on site-building, not mundane backlinking.

I made just over $1000 in my very first month when I started.

I am having success in several areas. I flip sites on Flippa. I make money with Just Been Paid (yes, really. Not popular I know!). I also market directly to my list.

I would say at present I have some $150 days and other $20 days.

As with all things, you need to scale it up, which is what I am doing now. Also, like many others, I spent ages swimming around in circles and going nowhere with information overload.
