Clickbank Question - % of purchasers using Paypal

I've been using Clickbank for a couple of months and have hit on a product that suits my niche. The problem is that all but one of the buyers have used Paypal and the TOS from Clickbank say I need 5 different credit card numbers excluding paypal before they pay out!

I assume this happens on every payment cycle.

Seems like a bit of a scam to me! For you experienced Clickbank users out there - what kind of percentage credit card users do you see v paypal - and how long will I need to wait before I can get some cash released?

    Hey Mrs S..

    This doesn't happen for every payment cycle....

    You only have to reach the 5 card barrier one time, then each set of funds will release without issue...

    You just need to get those 5 different cards for your first check to clear...

    It's a pain, but it cuts down on product purchase fraud from Clickbanks end and helps them to ensure things are all above board...

    For example..

    If You or I wanted to get a ton of clickbank products via our own affiliate link on a new account, we would have to find 5 different cards to purchase with in order to get our "discount".. if you understand what I mean..

    This is just a small hoop to cut down on this kind of thing.

    Some niches are paypal crazy too so it can be a while, unfortunately.

      Thanks for the swift response Jay - it's good to hear that you only have to jump through this hoop the first time. I was kinda hoping that five different customers would suffice - like you say if my niche prefers Paypal (as I do) then I could be in for a long wait!

        How many credit cards do you have?
        If you have to just make the purchases yourself. Use different zipcodes though.

    i got the same problem previously...

    I then posted on my sales letter a special offer for the first 10 people who uses credit card (instead of paypal) directly will get 30% off my product...

    of course I came out with my BS story on why they deserve the discount...

    just my 2 cents...

    Mrs S, My last 100 CB sales broke down like this...
    30 Visa, 15 MV, 55 PPL
    I didn't count the previous ones but they look similar.
