Why do You Need a Shortlink? What is it For?
My WordPress editing page has the option 'Get Shortlink' next to my Permalink box/window - what are they used for?
I see that the links I receive in emails often use a short url - is this the same thing? And why not use a normal url?
I did do a search here for this, but nothing turned up.
