Where to invest on Fiverr to get traffic

I used Fiverr for a backlinking service, which was very good, but the links didn't bring me traffic. They simply put my link on the first paragraph of the first page of Google for my main keyword. This was a very good result. My webpage (a Squidoo lens) already was in the first page, but in the fifth paragraph. So, now it's the first one. However, it's not getting too much traffic.

The good side of this story is that this lens is sending traffic especially to my second website (which was one of my intentions with this webpage) but not as much as I would desire.

I want to send traffic to my pages, and not merely put them on the top thanks to the backlinks. Just because you are in the first paragraph of the first page this doesn't mean that you will get a lot of traffic. You have to send traffic to this page.

Where should I invest so that I may put my pages in the best position and at the same time get traffic, using Fiverr?

I have no intention to spend money. I want to make a smart investment.

Thank you!

I do not suggest that you buy traffic. It's all hit and miss.

The problem with Fiverr is that people don't leave negative reviews when the end product really is terrible.

The only way to pay for traffic is with PPC. That's the only way to guarantee you are getting laser targeted traffic.

I used PPC in the past and I spent a lot of money without having positive results. My field is mental health, it’s not internet marketing. My products are my creation, they are new. My customers have to think before buying.

It’s not a good idea to pay for thinkers… If what you are selling is not a product that someone would buy the first time without a doubt, you have no chances to sell this product through PPC without burning your money. You can make money with PPC only when you are selling something that the internet user already knows.

In any case, my intention is to find a smart way to send traffic to my sites and other pages through Fiverr. There are many options. I don’t know what else would be something smart to do with the cheap services you find there.

I'm impressed you realize this. Most IMers don't.

So, isn't article marketing ideal for you? You need to create a space in which your idea products can flourish. You need to establish yourself as an expert. I don't think Fiverr is a good fit for you unless you want to have articles written. You can also buy blog article placements on Fiverr with links back to your site.

Do NOT use Fiverr for traffic. Tried a few times there and got nothing for a totally free program. Fiverr is good for some things but NOT for traffic.

I also used a type of service to promote my site at Fiverr, and I felt that I basically threw money to the trash can.

I was hoping that someone had a good idea for getting traffic from Fiverr, but perhaps you can only find good services for something else there.

It depends on the search volume. If you're in the first result for "get your ex back" you'll get TONS of traffic to your website. If you're on the first position for something no one searches for then you won't get traffic.

That's why a good internet marketing campaign starts with niche selection and keyword research. Before buying backlinks or doing anything with SEO you should know how much traffic you will get if you're successful and reach the 1st position.

This is just my opinion but the only way you're going to get traffic with Fiverr gigs is with SEO, the social media crap is useless. I suggest you go back to the beginning and determine which keywords are worth your time and will bring you the results you're looking for.

I agree with you. The reason why I’m not getting so much traffic is because my keywords are not as demanded as something like ‘getting your ex back’.

My field is complicated, and I face a fierce competition from powerful competitors that I cannot beat because I don’t have their tools, their capital, and their status quo.

The idea to use backlinks for getting traffic was not mine. I read a free ebook about it and I found it quite interesting. This idea works when your keywords are demanded, because thanks to the backlinks you'll get to the top.

This is not always a big advantage though; sometimes most internet users don’t prefer the first option available at Google. I read something about many people clicking on other links instead of preferring the first one. This happens many times, even though most people say that the sites that appear in the first spot practically get all the traffic.

I'm using article marketing, Squidoo lenses, a traffic tool, and whatever other method I can to send traffic to my websites. I was looking for new ideas.

I thought that perhaps I could also get traffic from numerous backlinks thanks to a very cheap backlinking service at Fiverr, but it depends on what kind of backlinks they are, and also on my audience.

The 1st result gets 36.4% of the clicks on average.
      2nd result 12.5%
      3rd 9.5%
and it goes down from there.

Source- and I've seen other private tests with similar results.

Why would anyone try to get to the top positions if they didn't send traffic?

Just like you said "just because you're at the top doesn't mean people will visit your website", where are you getting these ideas? You need to ditch those beliefs and start basing your online business off numbers and statistics. Online marketing is a numbers game. Know the numbers, use them to create your plan, and go from there.

Backlinks from Fiverr alone won't bring you traffic unless they raise your SERP. You should never buy backlinks blindly, you need to evaluate the competition and create an SEO plan. Backlinks will send you traffic directly from guest blog posts, videos on YouTube, popular article directories, etc. but that's called a content strategy not backlinking.

So one option for using Fiverr for traffic, you could have an article written for $5, publish it on someone elses blog with a link back to your site, and that may get you traffic but there are variables such as how popular that blog is, how well your article will convert to click-thrus, etc.

But a blog comment backlink package, forum profile backlinks, etc. won't give you any traffic directly.

What about using Fiverr to continue expanding your website and current methods?

From what you've said it sounds like you're on the right track...Article marketing, Web 2.0...Now you just to find more ways to expand the content you already have.

Here are some ideas for driving traffic, and I'm sure you can find Fiverr gigs to help:
    • Press Releases (Fiverr: writing & submission)
    • Article Marketing (Fiverr: writing & submission)
    • Squidoo Lenses (Fiverr: creation)
    • Blogging (Fiverr: writing)
    • Guest Blogging (Fiverr: writing & contacting webmasters)
    • Social Networking (Fiverr: Graphics & freebies)
Generally, I would NOT pay for likes or tweets or traffic in any form on Fiverr. I would also avoid the link blasts and all the things you've already stated reservations about (blog commenting, forum marketing). You're reputation is important, I'm sure you know to keep that in mind when picking a promotional method.

    Hope this helps!

Do not buy traffic off fiverr, its almost 100% bound to be botted visits, and these visits mean absolutely nothing for you, you may aswell have 0 visits compared to 1000 botted views.

Although, if you are going to use Fiverr for visits to your website then make it article posts to things like article directories etc, this could deliver you some good visits that can actually potentially convert!

    Good luck.

I agree. Use Fiverr for building links and other indirect traffic methods rather than buying gigs to send traffic directly to your site. There are some excellent gigs for backlinking services. Some of them over delivers its value of 5 bucks.

I stay away from Fiverr when it comes to backlinks. Some have good experiences but for me I felt as though I was flushing my money down the toilet. Have you tried marketing and backlinking your own site? At least then you know where you're linking from so there is no questions.

I use Fiverr mostly for backlinks to raise my blogs in the SERPs.

There ARE good backlink gigs on Fiverr, but are few and far between and you need to really know what works for SEO and what does not.

If you are expecting to pay a fiverr for a 20,000 or 40,000 scrapebox blast directly to a brand new site, and have your site rise up in the SERPs you are doing it WRONG.

Look mostly at linkwheels, then send that scrapebox blast to your link wheel URLs and not directly to your site to get much better SEO juice. Also look for permanent blogroll links on PR4 blogs or higher.

But for buying gigs on Fiverr for direct traffic, like banner ads, facebook likes or tweets, I have never gotten more than a trickle of traffic from them.

    Good luck.

I bought a gig at Fiverr which is providing me constant traffic as of the moment. I'm actually thinking of buying it again. But if you really want to promote your site and increase its traffic and target the right audience, you can always use social media marketing. Works for me all the time.

I have had better luck getting content off Fiverr than traffic. If you are looking to use Fiverr to get traffic, try the SEO services. Pick ones that provide a report and you really have to cherry pick among the providers-look for top rated sellers. It's trial and error from there on out.

Thank you all for your suggestions!

Now, let me answer this question:

    2nd result 12.5%
    3rd 9.5%
and it goes down from there.

I got this idea after reading a free ebook, which was showing us that many times internet users don’t prefer the first option available like we believe they do. The first site usually gets more clicks, but this is not a law.

Perhaps the second, the third or even the forth site attracts more internet users, even though it’s not the first one because it doesn’t have enough backlinks or whatever.

You're right it's not a law, and there are other variables such as title, description, and the way Google displays the result (sometimes they display multiple pages under one result). I also read that YouTube videos generally get more clicks when they're above the fold, depending on the keyword of course.

Anyways Clever7 not trying to rip on you, I don't want to be 'that guy'. Just saying take what you read with a grain of salt and use statistics to your advantage. Also don't spend money at Fiverr or anywhere unless you understand exactly how it will bring you traffic. And I say that to help, good luck with your business.

Well If your first page or top spots ranking are not yielding you traffic then I assume you have targeted the wrong keywords.

If you really want to buy traffic then I would suggest Google Adwords is best. You may use their CPM option as it less costly than CPC model.

Fiverr gigs are for building backlinks for a long term result and not short term results. If you want to get the best results then you should go for them. But if you want traffic then you can try adf.ly but for targetted traffic you should go with PPC.
