I can't believe I have 35000 subscribers in less than year time on auto pilot.

I have heard many times on this forum about subscribing list etc.
I am running a dating sites. I put some advertisements for my dating site on different forums and sites while promoting my sites,,,, there was also an option if you like to hear more of such topics etc or want to subscribe to our list, then please send us email ...

Today I was checking to see how many people have subscribed to my advertisements via emails [please remember i am not talking about members on my site] and i was shocked to see that there are more than 35000 people who have subscribed to my ads via email.

Now when i relaised how many subscribers I have, i remebered all the posts where i read about arranging lists etc.

but the problem is that i dont know what should be next step.

1. I really dont know what to do with this list and how to do?
2. I have them in my 4 different email addresses... is there any easy way to create a one list, so that I can be sending them promotional emails?
3. who should I use for mass mailing, I know of godaddy who allow you to send emails to 10000 members at one time... whcih one is used by warriors?
4. when I build a list, is there any way to identify the same email address used twice or thrice?
5. do i need any software or something else to create a list of these emails?

Please warriors advice me on the above questions as i really dont know much on waht to do.
I will really appreciate all replies. Thanks

Try to integrated your email subscribers with an autoresponder. With autoresponder you can blast promo email to all your subscribers anytime.

Yeah, not an easy task. OP, you can (most probably) get a share of those into an autoresponder and work from there.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

Most likely, those "subscribers" are stale and useless at best by now. You may be adding to your problems and grief by trying to contact them. Start over using a real autoresponder with interval promotions.

I agree that since you haven't mailed them at all, that they forgot who you were and that they even registered.

Register for autoresponder service, start collecting their emails and start sending some messages.

I would suggest you want to accomplish two things:

    1. Identify the HOTTEST prospects from your list of 35,000 and...
    2. Get them onto one proper list-building platform (Aweber, etc...)

As today's legit list building services won't allow importing of this many addresses, the best way to do this would be...

    1) Put together an incentive offer that you believe these targeted prospects would be interested in - a give away such as a chance to win something, a special report or video sharing one secret with them, a case study or testomonial they will find interesting, limited time access to a private site, etc...

    2. Setup a landing page (squeeze page) with express intent of getting these subscribers to opt-in for the new incentive

    3) Use whatever methods you can to email your list over a period of a few weeks with the new incentive -- be honest, tell them you have been overwhelmed with the responses and need to move to a new system and for their trouble you will give away X to get them to come with you.

In the end, you should have the hottest prospects on a new list management system where you can more actively turn them into buyers.

In the future, and for anyone else out there wanting to build a list, you set the whole thing up in an autoresponder in the first place with automatic follow up messages you create so that this never happens.

Since you did it this way, you can probably use aweber, if you can prove to them that the subscribers opted in or you can just upload the list and aweber will require that they all opt in again or you won't be able to email to them.

I have had success doing this with a doctor who could prove that the other service was used and that they all opted in and it was all fine and no success with another business owner who couldn't prove it, had to have them all opt in again and had only 1% opt in again so he didn't use aweber.

However, with a list that size, you want to have something really great to promote to them because your monthly fee at aweber will be high.

If it has been a while since you have emailed them, of if you have NEVER emailed them, then many may have forgotten they opted in or just aren't interested any more.

If you do try to use aweber, call and talk to someone upfront so that they know you are for real and tell them what you have going on.

If you can get your list into aweber or some other autoresponder, then make sure to offer some real value and have a very catchy subject line to get your subscribers back into seeing what you have to offer them.

I would start working with the most recently acquired, say the last 60-90 days. I'm betting the rest will be extremely non-responsive and view almost anything as spam.

Just use affiliate marketing, lots of affiliate products have affiliate tools pages available and if they do most of the time they template emails which you just have to change a little. Or let other people promote things true your mailinglist for a price. for example sell it for x dollar per click or x dollar per person you have on your mailinglist or just ask a percentage of their earnings. here you don't even have to writ the mails yourself just copy, paste and send it

    hope this helped

Since you obviously have a slew of messages explaining to use an auto-responder I wont beat that horse, but I will recommend iContact over Aweber. Good luck!
