|  Is OptimizePress still active?
Anyone know if OptimizePress is still active and being developed? I bought it about a year ago, and I looked on the membership pages today and it looks like there has been no activity in a while. the support forum has been saying that it is 'currently offline' for at least a few days now and there have been no recent blog posts. It's a great product, and I certainly wouldn't want it to die a slow death. |

I'd be very surprised if OptimizePress went under or closed up shop. It's one of the most powerful WP themes used by marketers, and I'm sure it sells like hotcakes. But- maybe it is going down. I hope not though! |

I personally Love Optimize Press. I think every organization needs to refresh their content and get a new look every once in a while. There are many things that they need to update, and I think that they are just working on that. Some of the top marketers in the world use Optimize Press. I think that James Dyson is just revamping everything to make it even more user friendly. I doubt that they would ever Close Shop...

There's actually similar themes that do the same stuff and do it for cheaper. I think Profits Theme is one. Hold on, looks like it's the same price. I thought it was cheaper. Maybe they raised the price. Anyway... |

Optimize Press is a great theme and so many IMers out there use it - I would be very surprised to see them "out of business".

I know it's a top quality theme, but (like the originator of this thread) my concern is if it's still being actively developed... For instance (if I'm not mistaken) the last update is almost a year ago... which concerns me... Does anyone have any specific info if they're coming out with a new version or new features/updates soon, such as responsive design and more blogging features? thanks! |

This is what James Dyson has told me personally several times lately. He is a client of mine and many of our clients use it for themselves and their clients. The best way to see what the latest version is would be to login to the members area. I see version 1.5 Which is recent. Other than that it sounds like you guys would benefit from contacting them directly if you have these types of questions. |

OK, thanks! I don't know that I can contact them directly (since I can't log into their member's area) but I did some more searching and found some answers... First... I was mistaken re: last update being over a year... I see their 1.5 came out in April 2012... good! Also, I found another thread on this forum where the developer (James Dyson)says they're working on a major new version coming out later this year... sounds exciting to me... What Happened To The Optimizepress Team? |

If you do a little search on James Dyson on this forum you'll find another thread where he discusses they are rolling out a brand-new product to trump OP. Personally I can't wait! |
