How to create a product for a niche?

Hey guys.

I've read suggestions about creating your own 'product' to sell or give away to build a list, but is a product always some sort of ebook? If you chose a product to sell, such as a baby's toy, what kind of product could you create that's relevant to the toy? Sure you could write an ebook on child safety or baby development, but no one would buy it as they're just interested in buying the toy.

What if you created a niche website about winning back your ex or something else very specific? Surely you can't create a relevant product for every niche and know that it will sell?

    I personally believe you can crate a relevant product for most niches. For example, you don't have to create an ebook. You can create a video demonstration showing creative ways to use the toy, safety precautions or accessories for the toy.

    I think the point is the develop products or services that are zero cost to the blog owner. Most of us do this in our spare time to try and build up a business from the ground floor. This is why affiliate programs and eBooks are so popular in that they don't require any out of pocket resources from the owner.

    You would want to do a research about what your "target market" needs before you create a product.

    For example, your niche market is baby's toy. Upon completing the research, you found out that parents want to know how to clean baby toys (just a random example). So you write an eBook about that topic.

    Or like you mentioned, they are just interested in buying toys. Buying cheap toys maybe. You already know what they want...so just give them the answers! You can write a report about...baby toy websites/places that sells cheap/affordable toys. Give them a list.

    They will be happy because they don't have to search all these (which will take them hours?) and it will save lots of their time.

    3 steps:

    1) Identify their problem
    2) Give them solution
    3) They will appreciate/buy your product
