Generating Sales with Clickbank

I am new to Clickbank. I haven't posted any of their products, it looks mostly to be literature. Can you post a link to products on forums, blogs and yahoo answers and still generate income for yourself? Or do all of the products have to be purchased via your domain? It looks as if there are two options. They seem to have high payouts in terms of percentage of sale. I would be grateful for any help. Thanks.

With over 100,000 Clickbank affiliates operating, forums, blogs and yahoo answers all see Clickbank affiliate links as Spam and will remove any such posts.

For the most part people place affiliate links on their own sites, usually proceeded by some pre-sell review or product comparison. It is slow but safer to get traffic through search engines by creating quality content.

Some use more risky paid advertising to bring people to their pre-sell page or some cases directly linking to the product sales page, Google will cancel the Adwords account of those promoting many of the more shady Clickbank products.

There's an unnecessarily large number of training courses available in the WSO section, some quality works, other are information re-hashes written by members one step ahead of you.

I totally agree with webapex. To start from scratch with clickbank, basically, you pick a niche, get a domain name, get web hosting, put together a review blog and drive traffic to your blog.

But let's be honest. Doesn't that method sound a little antiquated? Sure it does.

Instead of doing all that. Why don't you just build a list in the niche you like, then send offers to your list from time to time? That way, you don't have to pick just ONE clickbank product to offer, you can offer an endless amount really.

Just pick what niche you want to be in. Build a special offer. Put together a squeeze page. Buy solo ads, do adswaps and do some banner advertising on blogs to build your list.

Do those things and you'll have a list of 1k in about 1-2 weeks.

Then write quality content rich articles (emails) for your list and offer products to them that will help them in their business.

Like webapex said, you'll find a lot of free information about this here on the forum.

      Best of luck to you.

To make a sale on Clickbank the user must go to the site using your custom affiliate link. As long as your link is there, you can promote is anyway youdlike.

  • Shane's got the big picture and he expressed it rather well.

Personally, I like to build a list with a corresponding high quality blog. My list is automated, and I just drive traffic to the blog for the niche through things like guest posting, podcasting, forum discussions, etc.
