Anyone use backpage.com for ads

How do they work compared to craigslist? I am getting sick of craigslist and all there ghosting and trying to get around it. I wanted to try backpage.com. Are they as strict as craigslist or more lenient about ads in multiple cities.

What about traffic??

any other good classified ad sites

I used to have an offline business I would advertise there, the traffic isn't as high as craigslist but the quality is there. Depending on what your advertising it's worth checking out, especially since it won't cost you anything.

I have run ads there and they do well in google if they are long tail phrases. You can also renew them after they run out without re-writing. I think the traffic itself to their site though is significantly much less than craigslist, but since it shows in google it has a similar effect to submitting to an article directory .

are they as brutal as CL about posting free ads in multiple cites? I see alot of autoposters for sale for backpage so that leads me to beleive they are a little more relaxed.

Don't post in multiple cities they will shut you down, how ever with that said, if there is enough profit in your promotion, I would go ahead and post the free one in your area and then test with paid submissions in other cities.

Frankly depending on the service, the paid ad got me more traffic and was well worth the money invested, and I could pick and choose which cities my ads showed up in.

Some products and services didn't work, but most were.

Now I have to say none of my postings were for e-book - info products so I have no idea if that is effective.

I know people who like using backpage because there are bots available that can post multiple ads

I ran a free ad that I ran in around 7 cities at same time. It was not removed but I did not have a link in it- I had people e-mail me. I changed the text for each ad.

    Steve,

In this modern world when most of the people have got into the rush in a way you prove specially to the newbies that without lots of work it's impossible to make it !

You are a great inspiration to me.

Today I decided to go full time into im even though i am a complete newbie... I only quit a job of 400$ a month - to low to make me not go full time into ie.

Thank you for this inspirational post,

Me and my partner will gonna work also hard.

You prove to all that making a good living for im demands real work and that there is nothing like a shortcut.

It didn't work too well for me. Took out paid ads in many different cities. I just don't think they have the traffic. They also do not provide stats which I think is incredibly stupid.

I did this for "piano lessons." You may have better luck with another section though.
