Default For those of you who promote your site at digg, reddit, etc...

Do you just post an article about your site like "i found this awesome site, it's about blah blah blah, check it out here [yoursite.com]"?

Or do you add a new post/digg like that for many, or perhaps ALL of your blog entries? If so, doesn't google/reddit/digg/etc. see all of these links to the same site being posted by the same IP and the same username?

Or is that ok?

I'm trying to get my stuff out there and I want to know how much I can do without getting flagged by G or the web2.0 sites as a spammer.

probably won't go over too well. digg maybe. reddit def not. i think the key is to not just post your site right off. post your blog or whatever that has links to it. if you try to be overly promotional with digg, reddit et al, you'll prob get ditched quick

Digg specifically says that it is OK to promote your own site.
