I need to get started, help needed warriors

I have left my job and I am home since past 3 months.
I did my share of enjoyment now the time is to earn my living.
But I want to discuss some serious issues here, as I am surfing in the forum, I literally get lost and end up choosing 50 things that needs to be done and I can not work on a single thing.
I see people selling accounts, articles, services like bookmarking and backlinks. Honestly I do not know how they do it, I mean to start services like giving out twiter followers and facebook likes and social bookmarking you need some knowledge right.
I mean, I get confused over how to work, I see building websites is an option and earn through clickbank and adsense and giving services is another option.
There is information overload.
I am looking to earn 1k$ to 3K$ per month, as I can work 8 hours easily. I want to know how I can do it, by giving services or creating my own websites. but really I get frustrated early.
I don't expect to earn it through the first month itself
I have been in IM on and off since long but yet to find my turning point.
As far as I know there is passive income and there is active income, for which we need to work daily.
What are the ways I can follow? Clickbank or anything else?
Because if this does not work out I will have to fall back into day time job.
There is only one forum I can seek help from, WF.

Thanks guys.

Wow same life situation as me, except I had no fun lol. I've managed to get clients selling websites/facebook services to local companies. I went to my local grocery store which has a wall for local companies to put cards and fliers. I emailed every one that had an email, which was 53. 3 of them are now clients, and I picked up a client from cold calling.

I almost screwed up my first client though. I was too eager to sell her, I didn't even think it might not work. But facebook for health coaches are not bad, but you cannot get a lot of clicks through advertising. If you can, congrats. Fixed it, we are now going to rank a video.

Also I have not been able to get the clients to feel urgency over the phone. I tell them i'm here always, and sell them on it, if I get the chance to talk to them. But they all want to wait a short period to get started. Be sure to have a sense of urgency, I'm not sure how to give that advice as I have not succeeded at it yet.

Good luck, those are my recent humps in my offline marketing. BTW I only planned on doing offline until I could save up enough to invest in mobile marketing, which in my case will still be offline marketing. So if you just need a quick jump of money to invest in some larger or innovative ideas, that's what i'm doing and hope it works.

Local marketing is a great idea. Small companies have no ideas about SEO or Facebook ets. You have to talk to these people however. Other ways choose a niche you are passionate about. Do some keyword research and see how many people are searching for this. Then build a website around this. Start to offer products such as ebooks ( that you write) or video training. Start another blog about how you did this and tell people what you are doing. What problems you faced and how you solved them. What products did you use etc. People are intrested in this stuff.

would you sell your ebooks on your website along with your niche products like gift sets? Like display the ebooks on the right hand side of the page? how would you set up your ebooks to be added to customer basket or download and be paid for it then the customer to download them onto their computers?
      thank you

Well I saw a thread a while ago (can't remember who started it), where basically you offer a business owner the chance to see what their website could look like, no strings attached. You install a subdomain onto your websites domain (so it costs nothing), set up a beautiful theme with their name on it and they won't be able to resist asking to see more. So I offered websites where websites could be needed.

I used Facebook to try and get them fans that could convert to customers. That was a fail, because people aren't itching to let the world know they're trying to lose weight. (she was a personal health coach) Now I've convinced her to rank a video for a keyword that gets 140 searches a month.

These people will now be "looking" for her, not just being brought to her. They will be hotter leads and they get to watch a video. So I would say you could email them offering a generic service, but always try to think where they will benefit the most from on the internet. If you can sell yourself on the idea you should be able to sell them on the idea. I emailed everyone personally. I had a basic wording template and would change a few parts every email based on their industry or online presence.

If you do cold calling, a great tip is that it's all a numbers game. Possibly the same poster had another thread where he called 100 people. In the first 80 no one was interested. In the last 20 he got 6 clients. Always set the quota and complete it.

I would be going for more, but I don't want to get stuck creating websites forever. Like I said the money I'll receive making these few websites and helping with this ladies video will be more than enough to get my mobile marketing venture off the ground.

  • List down the things you can do that others can't. Can you juggle 15 or so ultra sharp knives while blindfolded? Can you modify a car engine to run on water? Can you solve the inequities of the global economy? Next would be to:

Trim down this list to a list of things you can do to help solve urgent problems and satisfy immediate needs of others that they can neither solve nor satisfy on their own. Trim it down further to a list of things that can be packaged as a solution, a product, a service offer or content. Trim it down further to a list of things frequent Internet users regularly search online. Trim it down further to a list of things people are prepared to buy online. Next:

Develop that product, solution or service offer. Develop content that you can use on your site to let others know about your awesome greatness and coolness in helping others with urgent problems and immediate needs that can be solved and satisfied by your solution, product or service offer. Next:

Place your content, info, advice, solutions, products and service offers in front of people who need it and on other sites where your target customers hang out. Let them think and feel, by viewing your content, reading the info and advice you wrote and using your solutions or products or service offers, that your main objective in life is their unconditional happiness...

That's it, fundamentally. If you don't have time to learn how to do these things, pay for the time of others with experience in doing such tasks. If you also don't have money to pay for the time of others who can do these things for you, find someone you can convince to invest in your business concept, say a friend or relative or a multi billionaire philanthropist who has already dedicated his or her life to fighting crime and poverty...

Things don't happen overnight. In fact, don't be disappointed if in another 3 months you haven't moved anywhere and your bank account is still a sad state of affairs. To succeed in this game, you have to work damn hard, go through the lowest of lows and completely change your direction in thinking.

My advice is, just pick something you think that suits you, and run with it. Work harder than you've ever done before and stick to it. It's a long process but none of this doesn't happen overnight...but it will happen

      here's my suggestion:

you should have stayed in your day job, because your going to need money to invest in tools that are needed to get sites up and earning some cash, plus you have to pay your bills right?

find a business model that would suit you.... if you can create websites then start approaching business and people and offer to create their sites for them, if your good at writing etc you can offer copywriting services ... if you dont have any skills of that sort, then i suggest you start learning now.

if you want to do affiliate marketing then just focus on that model and get some cash producing on that site. pick a model and stick with it an follow it through to the end .... work hard long hours, graft, hustle do what you gotta do ethically and you'll be ok.
