Need Amazon ebook reviewers?

Hello everyone,

I am about to help a friend publish a couple of short stories on Amazon. We will release the short stories for free, hoping to get her name out and stir some interest before she releases a long novel that she wrote (that will have a small price tag).

I heard there are amazon book reviewers "for hire", but I just don't know where to find them. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Freelancing sites would be your best bet i reckon. Don't really know too much about amazon ebook reviewers. I'm sure others will be able to point you in the right direction.

Fiverr has a ton of people to give you real reviews.
Go to kindleboards and other kindle author forums, find members that post a lot, tell them you'll send a free copy if they review it (on the forum and/or on amazon).
Got FaceBook friends? Twitter Followers? Free book in exchange for review.
Post a request for reviews in the wanted section of Warrior forum.
    etc.

Take out a $5 ad in the Warriors Looking To Hire You section. You'll get plenty of takers.

Paying for Amazon reviews is a bad idea. Don't do it, you can get your account closed down. Contact related blogs in her niche, or blogs that review fiction and send them a review copy, for starters.

Thanks Amy, I didn't realize paid reviews were against their TOS.

Do not pay for reviews. Instead find bloggers in a related niche or genre and write offering a copy of the book.

Amy is absolutely correct - paying for reviews will get your account deleted without warning. Give copies away for free in exchange for an honest review. Only way to remain within Amazon TOS.
