Hi

We have recently launched a Saas platform that allows users to create online promotions on their sites, Twitter and Facebook accounts (coupons, contests....)

We want to promote it worldwide, and currently we have a 1.000 $ monthly budget.

How would you use this budget? (e.g press realease services, adwords, ads...), which providers would you recommend?

Thx for your help

I would find good people are you can help with the promotion rather than paying for a service like you mentioned. Find someone who is smart and has energy and will Really get involved in places like facebook, twitter, forums, and other places Where potential buyers will be frequenting.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

that's an option, but my experience so far it's not very positive, this kind of action it's very time consuming and the results are very slow.

      anyway thx

Yes, press releases definitely, I have had very good experience with that and also social media marketing, and I would also do some small experiment with adwors and if it does not work then drop it as adwords can waste your budget quite fast.

I would do a paid press release on the high end (google press releases to find the paid services). Unless you write good copy, hire someone from Elance or Rent-a-Coder or here on the Forum, to write you a GREAT press release (check out Fiverr.com too). A really good press release can drive hundreds or thousands of people to your site. Online editors pick up and syndicate the outstanding press releases. Use curiosity and tease the reader. Make them curious enough to visit your site. Provide value in the press release without giving away the cow. Offer some incentive to visit your site, like a contest or a freebie of some sort that will draw them to your site. Use Facebook Ads (check out the WSOs on just the strategy) with demographics from Alexa.com or Quantcast date for your site. Google Adwords can be very profitable if you target the right audience, but also quite costly. Media buys on websites and online publications that target your audience are also effective (check out the WSOs here for a good one on that - it is a science too.).

        Hope that helps!

Google Adwords and Microsoft Adcenter. Both does a good job at converting well with squeeze pages. Do you plan on selling the product directly from a sales letter page, or will you lead them to a squeeze page? You should also consider Google's Content (or Display) network. Think of it as advertising on a high traffic website without the hassle. But just specify what sites you want to advertise on first.
