Help choosing the best Webhosting site with WordPress!!

Okay I know what I'm going to do when I get a website but I can't find out how to get one to start selling my PLR packages...

I saw a few but they are crazy expensive. I'm just looking for a simple webhosting place to start a site. I don't need unlimited amounts of space, 1 GB will do nicely and I'm not expecting it to be free, but not $200 either.

I also need it to be Wordpress friendly... I love html but it comes to making a website it's either your a master of html or you'll never get it right.

Does anyone have any in mind? I've heard both good and bad things from GoDaddy.com so I don't want to jump the gun and go with the lowest webhosting site either...

(fyi also I need it to be able to create a domain name, not just host it)

Thank you for any help on this!

Pretty much any host is Wordpress friendly, no worries there. You can look in the WSO section for some deals on hosting.

If you want to go with one of the big boys a lot of people use Hostgator.

The best advice I can give you is:

Run far from hosts offering "unlimited" disk space/ bandwidth

If the host is here on WF..read the reviews on their WSO (ALL OF THEM)

Top-10 lists are bs...those hosts are the top paying affiliates which is why they're on the list.

That being said, there are plenty of good quality web hosts.

    What is your budget?
What features would you like? (extras, backups etc etc.)

I only want a few simple features and only need one domain. I don't even need the 'unlimited sub domain' if it'll save me a few bucks. In total I'd say I'd need 5 or 6 webpages all together in the one domain. I already have the shopping cart with my payment processor taking care of the business end.

One extra I'd like is the ability to keep track of any emails my visitors and clients provide so I can send updates to those who'd sign up for the information. But that's just simply it. Anything else is just a bonus that I might use in the future but not absolutely needed.

I'd say budget wise to start out today is about $50 and I'd like to find a site that lets me pay monthly so in case things don't work out (which I'm sure they will but just in case...) it's not lingering around for years.

You have a lot of alternatives. I've used host gator (note no affiliate links here) with a lot of success. They have really good support, and you can get a basic package for not a lot. I would, however, recommend their "Baby Plan." You can get it either on an annual basis or monthly and it has the added benefit of unlimited domains. This means you can host more than one domain for the same price. As your traffic increases you can then choose to upgrade if you want.

I would stay away from domain registrars who offer hosting. I think it's better to keep your hosting separate from your domains. I also don't think the hosting that the registrars offer is as good.

    Just a few thoughts.

    Here's to your success!
