Your online income comes from where?

I am not asking people here to post how they make money but more on what people do to make money online. Be it using CJ and selling affiliate products or through something like CPA Empire.

I know mos tpeople are always telling the new people create your own product etc. But doesnt most of the people here make their online income from affiliate programs?


Mines all affiliate programs was just curious to what everyone had going.

        A couple hundred a month from affiliate programs sure, but not enough to make the rent check most months.

        On the other hand, my latest WordPress plugin sold more than $10,000 in copies in less than two weeks. Making your own products means profit margins can get darn close to 100%.

        Most of my online income comes from selling services and subscriptions to websites. W3Counter for example, where I compete with Google Analytics by doing less better, and people pay for that too. Around $300,000 in revenue across all my ecommerce and service sites last year, but the margins are much lower (paying suppliers, advertising, paying affiliate commissions, fraud/returns, etc), so I barely eeked out a 6 figure profit from that part of the business.

          Wow., that was honest. Do you know how many people would be touting " I made $300,000 ... " Not many tell you that their figures are gross.

      Actually, most of my "online" income comes from offline clients.

      Weird now that I say it out loud. I just took my IM knowledge and applied it in a less competitive market.

      Sounds so simple, but it's still work.

          Used to come from getting the offline world online and now it's a 50/50 split between affiliate products and my own stuff.

          Well, maybe not 50/50 but pretty close. I still get the occasional request from the local biz dude for some help. But since I started doing affiliate and info marketing I've totally stopped looking for new clients. The income I made in one month doing this stuff DESTROYED what I was doing actually "working".

          You could start with a hybrid. You can accept "eChecks" online, which are the same as what you're doing, except you have your client enter the routing and bank account numbers on your website and initiate the deposit right then instead of when you go to the bank.

            Three of my own products... one affiliate deal... currently
            building out an online business directory for local small business
            owners. Right now the bulk of my income is coming from my
            own products. None of them are in the "make money online"
            field.
