I have a great idea for a wso that I'm planning to release once it's ready, but after reading the thread I just linked, I'm a little terrified of paypal suddenly closing with my account before I do any future withdrawals, with all the effort amounting for nothing in the end.

Is there no other way to release a wso and integrating it with anything else other than paypal?

      1. I believe there are now 2 additional payment processors you can use
      2. there are things you can do in advance - such as calling paypal before you launch and having them assign you someone.
      3. There are many many people here using paypal who have never had any issues

      It's good to realize the sky "could" fall, but that should not stop you from doing what you want to do. Just use the information to better prepare yourself.

    I would suggest calling up your payment processor before selling anything and make them aware of what your product is. Being open with them will keep your account from hopefully being limited, closed or banned...BUT and I say but as tenderly as possible there is a chance you may still have issues especially with PayPal!

    Don't let the payment processor situation slow you down in your efforts to create a product. You can always deal with that situation later.

    The most important part is getting down to work and getting a product ready, especially if you have some good ideas and you think you can create value with your product. If your product is worth it you WILL find ways to monetize it.

    just create your product and dont worry too much about the paypal issue

    its something to be aware of but dont let it stop you from taking action

    as the other guys say above theres always a solution to the problem

    You mean to have people pay you, right?

    You can have them pay with whatever processor you want- but things like JVZoo and WarriorPlus (not necessary, but nice) only use PayPal me thinks.

    Yep, you can use any payment processor you want.

    Most people on this forum prefer to use Paypal, but use any that you want.
