I have an info product just about finished, it is not a IM focused eBook in any way, it's a guide and tutorial type of product for a certain target group. Now it occurs to me that I could use quite a lot of IM style techniques to launch this product, definitely some article marketing, and an affiliate setup for sure. There is also a follow up product on the drawing board, so I definately think it would be a good idea to build an opt-in list during the launch/promotion of the initial product. This is not going to be a hard sell, no psychoactive sales page, it's not that kind of product. Opinions? |

Its all pretty much here in the Warrior forum I guess it depends on the niche you are in and how your target audience reacts. You have the basics run with it. Ed |

Article Marketer must be your first option. You must test the market, drive 200 visitor to your website, if make at least one out of 200 visitor this is a winner.

Your fisrt thing to do is find out if your potential buyers will actually spend their hard earned cash on your product. Not all niches have people who spend money. Assuming that you have a money rich group of people spend time getting people to your site. After a few 1000 visitors you will know if you have a winner Slow way - articles Quick way but expensive - pay per click |
| The Memoirs Of Edward Rochester - Just imagine if Jane Eyre had been written by Mr Rochester. My first full length novel now on Kindle and In Print on Createspace. That's what I call a niche! | |

Like others have said... I dont know the market your in, but if its a good product like you pointed out with a decent size market... you could always go to "google groups" and promote it there. You will have to look into it more... there are rules and guide lines. But it could work easyly! Hope it go's well Micah Rush | |

Don, how do you locate newsletter publishers? Is it as simple as doing a google search?

If it helps - I have a product out that I am adding to. I have it out there but am waiting to really market it until I get the complementary product done - both becuase of my tight schedule right now an because I want to be able to hit the market from both sides of the niche at once so I can hard sell a "both for discount". I am in a niche where both would be of interest to most of my customers. I am also in a niche where the keywords are really tromped on for the first product but I can open up some less vicious ones relevantly with the other product on my site, too. I also intend on a U-tube to go with the official launch. Etc, Etc...yadda...yadda Anyway -- please note that this is just an example of an option - it is what I need to do for my own genre and might just be totally wrong for you. Just notes to help you brainstorm. |
