Hi all,

I want to start buying solo ads and once I've got enough subscribers start adswapping to build my list. I have a couple of questions.......

1. Is there an easy way to create a seperate buyers list that won't get sent the adswap messages? Do I have to manually take each buyer off the main list onto another? I'm using Aweber

2. Can anyone provide me with an example adswap message? Not sure what subject lines, main email text e.t.c. work best for adswaps. Feel free to pm me if you'd rather.

cheers!

Ed

    Hello Ed,

    1. I can't recall what's the name but there's an automated
function within AWeber that lets you take subscribers off
    of 1 list into another.

For example - if you have a subscriber list and buyer list...
when someone subscribes into the buyer list, Aweber will
automatically remove that email address from the
    subscriber list.

    It's under automation I think...

    2. Actually, if you want to do adswapping, a good idea is to
check out what kind of emails you've already been receiving.

Very likely, you have been on a list where the owner did
    some kind of adswap.

You can reverse engineer or rewrite those emails to suit
    your needs as a start.

Naturally, you will want to track every possible thing so you
get the best return on investment.

This is exactly the question on my mind right now. Hopefully fellow warriors can help.

Yes, Go on the Automation Tab on either getresponse or aweber and create a rule. The Automation Function has a set of rules that can allow you to unsubscribe a prospect from the prospect's list when he gets on the buyers list.

    Simple and easy

Right ok thanks. When people talk about 'buyers' lists I naturally thought they were just that...............people who bought a product from me.

But if I've got this right, if I send an email to my list with a link to another sqeeze page and they opt in to that, that effectively becomes my buyers list?

So it's more of an 'action takers' list rather than 'buyers'

      No that is incorrect.

A buyers list is as you describe - "a list of buyers".

Firstly though I do not believe you can recreate/shuffle the subscribers on your lists after they have joined. This activity must be done in real time as your opt-ins/buyers join your list.

Create different lists within (say Aweber) for each niche and separate lists for buyers/products and freebie opt-ins.

Set rules (automation) for buyers lists that remove the same person from any optin-list when the buy and join the buyers list. That way you get seperate lits of buyers and freebie opt-ins.

Now you can ensure you only use your freebie opt-in lists for adswaps if that is what you want.

As for how to word your adswap email, just look at what anyone offering you free stuff is saying. It's likely your inbox will be full of such emails.
