I'm a complete "newbie" and this will be my first project - so I'm asking all of you warriors out there for some help...... I want to set up a simple website to make some money ( capture email numbers , be an affilate etc) but for various reasons ( don't even ask why, but it's not the cost ! ) I won't be able to have a computer with internet access at home, so I'll have to use the computers at the local library or internet cafe. My question is this - will this work ? Can I work on the website at the local library , then save everything on a disk or memory stick and then load it up on the computer next time ? How am I going to get over this hurdle ? - can anyone give me any advice or leads Look forward to hearing from you Andrew |

Hi Andrew. If you install a wordpress account on a host or use the free one you could do this. Blogger is another free system you could use. Quentin |

Hi Andrew I have recently used the library (wireless) connection and my laptop to work on my Websites and to write articles while my daughter is being tutored at the library. My experience is that while I'm working on my own laptop I see TONS of people using the library computers. It is ALWAYS crowded even during school hours. Even though you may be able to work on your Website on the library computers you will have to pick a time of day when you will be able to find a computer available especially if your library is in a major city or at least a big one. I live in a small village and the library I go to is a small city library. Second issue you will face is that most libraries time your use of the computer (1/2 hr or hr increments). These two issues will need to be taken into consideration. Good luck! |

I agree with Quentin, you should setup a blogger or wordpress account to start but if you have a little change and can have your own domain and hosting account that would be even better. But try and keep things simple.. --David |

I second wordpress recommendation. Once you installed it - you only need any computer with internet connection and any browser to do full blown online business with it. You don't need to save anything on a memory stick - unless you want to upload photos from it to your website or so... Send me PM if you want help to fully and properly set it up. I am wordpress developer. Gleb |

I'd stay away from hosted blogs. They own your content, your business and they want you to treat their TOS like a bible. Yet they could kick you out any time annulling all your time and effort investment spent building your business. Hosted blogs are good to support your existing business by keeping "satellite" blogs for some extra backlinking and traffic purposes. Never as a main business. Gleb |

I think it will be possible but you need to do something which will not involve more then an hour of work daily so a automated blog might be a good idea
