I Need Fiverr Promotion Help

No, I am not advertising my stuff here. I spent a good portion of the last 5 days or so building up my Fiverr profile after getting excited about a WSO I bought. (It was only $11, and it was a VERY good read, so I am not disappointed at all.) So far, I managed to make $8, which is $8 more than I had before, and I'm almost breaking even on the WSO. (I know, I know, technically I'm $3 behind, but it's OK.)

So I've created an addon domain for my main domain to display more info and pix about my Fiverr gigs, and I've included a j.mp shortlink (for tracking) in each gig. I built a Hubpage talking about my gigs as well.

Tonight I added an epic Fiverr gig. It was a moment of sudden inspiration combined with a weekend of complete boredom. I called it "I will send you my diet plan to go from six pack abs to beer keg flab in less than 2 months for $5!" If it does well, I might even make a WSO out of it!

What I want to know is how to get more traffic. I've added SEO keywords to every post, capitalized the most important word in each gig, linked out from Hubpages...even had a Twitter goddess blast me out to 75K Twitter followers...and nothing. Any ideas that anyone has would be great. I'd rather see ideas posted here, but everyone is welcome to PM me if you want to give advice you'd rather not post in public.

PS: I'll turn off my signature in this thread as proof I'm not promoting my Fiverr gigs.

I'd continue creating new backlinks, and maybe join groups, etc. about Fiverr, etc. I've tried Twitter blasts in the past and personally didn't have a lot of success with them.

    Good luck.

Have you created a video for your gigs? Fiverr loves video's and without one you've got little chance of getting on the home page... where you could get massive traffic.

So I'd start by creating video's. You could even use the profits you're making on Fiverr to buy a Fiverr gig that will create the videos for you!

Then upload the video's to video sharing sites (eg. youtube) and include a link back to your Fiverr gigs.

    Good luck

Trevor...that's a freakin' awesome idea! I made a few bucks writing articles this weekend...I think I'll reinvest that in a few videos for Fiverr. Great idea dude!

I think he meant he will promote them once this thread dies down.

He just didn't want it to seem like he only created this thread so people would notice his Fiverr gigs.

Trevor's right...I don't want to come across like the people who just randomly post stuff (on average, 1-2 posts per account) just to attempt to promote something. I have a (small) history here, and I'd like to stay here for a bit longer, so I try my best to follow the rules.

BTW...where in the WF should I go to promote them?

You can promote via Twitter, Facebook, social bookmark site etc. I also have gig to promote other people gig in my Fiverr. Cause I do the same activity that I have done to promote the gig so I think I can help other people to get some exposure. If you are interested, maybe I can help you.

I would say create tons of gigs that deliver the same product but word them differently to get more exposure.
