    Hi Justicewordlaw,

One of the things I wish I was told earlier and I probably would have stubbornly ignored anyways, is... Start as soon as possible, and whatever you do, DON'T PROCRASTINATE.

Think about this, you only ever have to do this product once, and if you do it right, it will provide you with much fruits for your labor possibly for a long time. I recommend you map out the general layout of what your product will be so it is easier to break down into bite sized chunks. If you have mindmap software use it to create a basic outline of what you want, and then tweak it to convey it to your audience... if you do not have mind map software, get FREEMIND, just google it. It will allow you to make an outline of what you want to sell or give away.

Also, if you are a newcomer to this business, and you don't know much about the niche you decided to jump in, I would say, why don't you just get a PLR (Private Label Rights) Product with full Rights... Then you can use it as the base to create your product and modify it to your liking.

I hope some of this advice helped.

    Cheers,

    Alex

    My advice is:

    1) Keep it as simple and short as possible. For some reason there are a lot of marketers out there who think that more information means more value. This is NOT true. You want to deliver it in the most effective way possible. By effective, I mean the way that will get people to take action. Sometimes a sentence is all you need! Also try to only use videos to show how to do something. There are way too many videos with people speaking absolute fluff. Videos are for visual actions.

    2) Try and say something NEW. There is a lot of re-hashed info around which is perfectly fine as long as you add a different take. Or a different way of doing things.

I don't know what info product you are launching, but the above applies for internet marketing. If it's a niche that is more "how to" like gardening, weight loss etc, you can provide more info, but I think it's nice to have a quickstart guide. People are much less likely to use the product if they are bombarded with information.

    hope this helps

Congrats that you have taken action and going to launch your first product! Some personal advice that I would want to share with you are:

    1) Test your payment link a.k.a "buy now" button and make sure everything is fine
    2) Set up all your autoresponders, follow up emails etc (test them as well)
    3) Test all your links on your sales page (terms & condition, disclaimer, affiliate program, contact etc) - make sure coding are all fine so that it doesn't direct visitors to an error page
    4) if you have an affiliate program, try your best to provide every single promo tools! - of course, high commission payout =)

There are lots more to say, but I'm not sure what kind of info product you are launching. Important thing is..make sure your product contains HIGH QUALITY CONTENT!

I wish you all the best!
