1million likes but my Facebook page has stopped growing?

I have a fanpage with over a million fans. The strange thing was that for months it had flat growth when it was at 750k fans then all of a sudden on 24th March it shot up by 17k users for no reason. It continued to grow to 1,2 mill then a few days ago the growth stopped completely.

I am still getting lots of likes and shares to posts but its not growing? Any ideas what could be happening?

    It is likely a bug by Facebook, or the stats are just cached for a while.

    The main question you should be asking yourself is, are you making any money from those fans? I wouldn't care if my fanpage had 2,000 or 100,000 fans. The most important thing is how you are monetizing those fans. From the sounds of it your page is probably targeting a very broad niche so it might be a little hard to monetize.

    Don't get me wrong, having fans is great but if you're making no money from them you're doing no better than the guy with 100 fans.
