There's Gold In Them There Hard Disks

Actually there's a lot of junk too...

But that's what you find when you do a little digging around.

I just went through all my browser bookmarks to re-organise them. Wow - I found all kinds of great sites I had bookmarked over the years.

Next task: sorting through my hard disk and my collection of articles, ebooks, reports, audios, videos, etc.

I highly recommend you sort through all the stuff in your bookmarks and on your hard disks every now and then.

Yes, you'll probably find a lot of junk (and you'll get a great feeling when you hit that 'delete' button) but you may also find some gold that you had totally forgotten all about!

  • Ah yez! I agree!

I'm a multi-millionaire, but still trying to figure out how to turn all that info on my hard drive into $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

However, until then, I'm still doing pretty good!

I am the download king. I have a lot of stuff on my hard drive, I'm sure lots of it is out dated junk. I may have some recent good stuff though, not a task I enjoy but needs to be done!

Since I started getting into IM I had to buy a new TB hard drive as my other one filled up so quick. Every week I resolve to keep track of what I have and then another giveaway hits my inbox and I download a ton of new stuff! I'm thinking of setting up a free membership site to share some of this stuff with the world!

I should start doing that as well I have too many untouched ebooks, audios, programs and not to say bookmarks.

    Thanks for this post!

Absolutely! One of these days I need to see if I can recover the data from the computer my son crashed years ago. I have some copy I used for an eBay auction on there that regularly brought $80-90 for an item most others were only getting $20-30 for.

I have so many bookmarks - precious stuff really but time doesn't allow me to read them allow. Whenever I find something interesting on the web I say in my mind "hmm, cool, I'll bookmark this and read it later" but, this is a BIG mistake!
