10 books selling on Kindle...Now What?

Warriors...looking for some enlightenment here...

I have written and created 10 ebooks publishes on Kindle...they're making me around $500/month...the topics are a bit mixed so there is no any one genre...I have a website/blog featuring the books, but am not marketing it all at this point...also setting up an FB Fan Page for my company, not the books...

Thoughts on what I should do to increase sales from those books...would like to add another "0" to the 500...appreciate any and all enlightenment...

You should be marketing your books outside of Amazon also.

You should be setting up funnels for people to find your books and to make a purchase.

Don't passively wait for Amazon to send you new customers. You go out and find new customers and show them the link to buy your books.

You have a choice. To add a 0 to your earnings, you need to either add a 0 to the number of books you have available OR market your books like you really want to make money.

What are you doing INSIDE the books? For example, are you getting customers onto a mailing list? Are you recommending that they purchase your other books? (The ones in the same niche, of course.)

Get going on this part. Make a marketing plan. Start advertising the site, build a prospect list and then send those prospects onto your Kindle sales pages.

Edit: Bill beat me to it.

I'm cross promoting the books via links inside the books that fall into the same niche...

I've yet to build a list...

In terms of advertising, what's the most effective way to get visitors to the site? FB? Google? Media buys?

I would avoid Google and Media Buys.

        FaceBook is okay.

The important thing is to get the links for your book sales funnels in front of the people most likely to buy your books.

I'd think article marketing, press releases, and free introductory books on document sharing sites.

I would also try to figure out where your future customers are already spending their time, and buy advertising there...

        For example...

If you are writing about Big Foot, buy adverts on Big Foot websites.

Good advice! You can also approach blogs in your niche and do some guest posts or run a book giveaway. You can also check out popular readers forums like Good Reads as well, many of them offer author promotional areas and tools.

Given the sheer number of blogs, podcasts, vlogs, Internet TV shows, talk radio shows, etc., I'd think that you have a huge opportunity to get yourself interviewed by phone/Skype or by email.

You can then leverage those interviews into more buzz, leading to more sales...
