Depends what your goals are as to which List Building course would be right for you. I don't mean to toot my own horn here but all the List Building courses I've ever seen are missing important elements.

Such as... focusing on tracking and testing, how to setup ad campaigns, what your stats are telling you, split testing, properly scale an advertising camapign, etc.

Anyone can be taught how to throw up a squeeze page but there are important elements to test just on that page alone, such as proof elements and trust elements that need to be tested for best conversion.

Most people throw up a squeeze page with heavy graphics and think that's it but if they bothered to do any testing they could increase their subscriber percentage by at least 25% or higher.

It's exactly like Mike described above. The trick is personalizing the funnel and strengthening your brand to grow your relationship with your list.

The money is in the list, its true, but only if your list responds to what you have to say. List building is essential but the most important element to an email marketing income is the relationship you have your list.

To get to your question. I have purchased a bunch of list building WSOs and like Mike said, there are little details missing in each one. I can only recommend that you purchase a WSO from someone youre interested in learning from. Then observe how they set up the funnel of the WSO you just purchased (as well as learn from what the WSO teaches).

There are a ton of ebooks, BUT, they never give me what I want to know.

Ya, Ya..I understand the money is in the list. You have to build your list and I know tons of ways to. But what you do with your list after is my real concern. What kind of offers to send? Do you send offers along with advice because the top marketers seem to just send affiliate links.

as mike says, the key is having a sales funnel and also focusing on tweaking, testing and tracking

theres lots of great places to get traffic from ie solo ads that are very effective but if your sales funnel is not set up properly and/or your squeeze page doesnt convert very well then your going to be struggling right off the bat

having a good sales funnel in place is the core of your list building system for building your business

If you are a total newbie and need step by step instructions and not just an overview of what to do, then everything you need is right here on this forum.

There are many free courses offered on this forum and in the make money online section.

I have found the key to most newbies is that they get overwhelmed.

Whatever system you find, do not try and absorb the entire thing before you take any action.

Read a little or watch a bit of a training video and then DO THAT PART. Then study a little more and DO THAT PART....

You will get a lot further and most likely not get overwhelmed if you do it as you go.

And don't worry about getting it perfect. You can always go back and tweak it.

And I mean little tweaks.

I was amazed at what small changes I'd have to make on a squeeze page bullet point or headline or on an email subject line or paragraph that increased my conversions.

This is how I start out.


1. Find your niche – think of customer profile (Get those that are willing to spend)

2. Find your products ( more than 4)
3. Get affiliate links

4. Find emails
5. Create getresponse campaign
6. Load in emails ( followup )
7. Create squeeze page
8. Upload your squeeze page
9. Drive traffic

Ewen Chia's "Optin Profits" is real good.

And this is how I drive traffic.


1. Article marketing :

By writing articles related to your keywords,

it adds your ranking and creates

many backlinks and clicks to your web,

besides branding you.


Just submit articles to Ezine articles( use it a lot),

and start building traffic.


Oh yeah, you can also get others to write

for you if you are not one for writing.


Something like freelancers.com

should work for you well !


Post as many articles as you can

as fast as you can to get better results.


2. Video marketing :

Make and post videos on youtube with your link!


Make it funny or interesting and soon

viewers will be flocking your site.


As long as the content you give them is good,

youtubers generally will see it.


You can also make videos of you reading

out the articles you have written and posted,

it might be boring but at least it has good info!


3. Blogging :

Frankly, I am still trying it out

and it is not really working for me,

but other bloggers say that it is working for them.


Just post a blog every day or two and

try to put in good content in it.


It seems you can also write it in a diary sorta style,

as long as it is interesting!


Use wordpress.


4. Solo Ads :

Paid traffic that does not guarantee subscribers.

It is a great way to start out when your list is low,

but start out slow.


Test the waters first.


See how many clicks or subscribers you are getting

with them and reevaluate the worth of the solo ads.


Generally, if you can get a certain amount

of subscriptions or sales then,

it is worth investing on.


Really the trial and error system for internet marketing.


5. Classified Ads :

UsFreeAds is the classified ads

strategy I am using right now.


There are actually more targeted people to your niche

by marketing it with classified ads.


Besides it ranks fine on Alexa,

the traffic ranking is 1k++

which is considered not bad.


You might wanna try it out too !

The ways I use are all non seo because

I don't really trust google.



Besides they are all

virtually free or inexpensive,

suitable for trying things out!
