Moving online...but how to start?

Hi fellow warriors, I'm new to WF but I have an absolute passion for IM and web design! I work offline for a design company but it's so limiting and my artistic side is screaming at me. I would love to open my own online design business but don't know where to start. I've checked out Flippa.com but it seems as though my designs would not sell for anywhere near what they're worth so I'm left with a issue. Where can I design sites whether adsense, clickbank or affiliate based for clients who are looking to buy? Any help is very much appreciated! I should mention that I very knowledgeable in adsense, clickbank, affiliate marketing and SEO due to owning my own successful websites so I know that I will be able to build the sites that are wanted/needed.

    It sounds like you want to build a site and then sell it to your clients right?? or no??

    lol..bit confused really..You say you know how to build sites too so why don,t you build them and sell them to your clients??

    When you say design sites I think you should check out the warriors for hire section as there are many that can help you there or just type it in the search box..

    I would say go to fiverr but you gotta make sure the person doing the design for you is reputable and has a few hundred jobs under him/her and his previous customers are happy with the work..

        Maybe you should set up a portfolio website and show off your work to potential customers. Additionally, you can promote your services on sites like Elance and Odesk. A portfolio website can be really helpful for a freelancer.

    Flippa is for selling/flipping web sites. You need to offer your services on websites offering web design and other services for people interested to outsource (like Freelancer, Elance, there are many other...). Unfortunately the competition is huge and there are many talented people from Asia and other zones offering quality for a very low price.

    Probably a better choice is to build your own IM business. You should learn from a successful and honest person. The best I know is John Thornhill, a self made multimillionaire, honest and helping people. On one of his web pages is having 2 good packages for $67 and $97. The web page is multiprofitmonthly dot com, you should take a look. He is having a very good blog with a lot of information at johnthornhill dot com.

    Create a website and showcase your design work. Bid for website design projects at sites like ifreelance.com, guru.com and projects4hire.com. Craigslist is a good option to advertise your website design services to find clients who need much creativity in the design of their websites. All the best to you!
