Is a Flippa Website Portfolio Possible?
I've seen a lot of threads on here with people asking "how should i spend $XX,XXX on starting a site"
What about trying to build a portfolio of sites - buying them on flippa?
For example - buying 10 sites each over 3 years old (maybe PR2/3), each earning $100 a month - then using the $1000 to hire someone to put 20 $5 articles on each site each month - to get it going.
With fresh content - hope that the money picks up. Maybe improve the design.
It's slow - but with aged sites, and fresh content - it should work.
Compared to buying property - i think it's not bad. As you pay $60k for a deposit - then have to wait 20 years to sell the property once the mortage is paid off.
I'm thinking about buying 5 flippa sites - at up to $10k each. and giving this portfolio idea a try.
Do you think it would work? Even if it take 5 years to start making money. (Would it be ok to host them all on 1 dedicated server?)
